'Congress always spreads fake narratives', Amit Shah's big statement on Rahul Gandhi, says - no vote theft...
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday (September 18, 2025) targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over allegations of vote theft. He termed the Voter Rights Yatra as the "Save Infiltrators Yatra." Addressing party workers in Rohtas, Bihar, he accused the Congress party of ignoring development issues and protecting illegal immigrants from Bangladesh.
Congress spreads fake narratives: Amit Shah
Home Minister Amit Shah said, "Congress spreads fake narratives every time. Rahul Gandhi undertook a yatra... The topic of his yatra wasn't vote theft. His focus wasn't on good education, employment, electricity, or roads, but rather on protecting illegal immigrants from Bangladesh. This was Rahul Gandhi's "Save Infiltrators Yatra."
Questioning the Congress party's yatra, Home Minister Amit Shah asked, "Should infiltrators have the right to vote or free rations? Should infiltrators get jobs, housing, and medical treatment up to ₹5 lakh? Instead of our youth, Rahul Gandhi's vote bank is giving jobs to infiltrators."
'The purpose of the Congress yatra was to protect infiltrators'
Referring to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's Voter Rights Yatra, Amit Shah said, "You (BJP workers) know what its purpose was? Its purpose was to protect infiltrators from Bangladesh. You should go across the state, visit every home, and tell people that if they (the opposition alliance) come to power, every district in Bihar will be filled with infiltrators."
The Union Home Minister said, "Congress leaders had used a similar strategy in the past when they alleged that we wanted to end reservations for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, but nothing like that happened."
"The NDA government must be strengthened."
Addressing a meeting of selected workers from 10 districts in Dehri, Rohtas district, Amit Shah said that in other parties, leaders win elections, but the BJP is a party where workers win elections.

He said, "The people of Bihar gave the RJD and its allies a chance to run the government, but incidents like kidnapping and murder started occurring there. This cannot lead to the prosperity of the state. If the youth want to move forward and take Bihar on the path of development, they must vote for the NDA government and strengthen it in the upcoming elections."
