Bodybuilder Varinder Singh Ghuman was cremated on Friday in Jalandhar, Punjab. His eldest son lit the funeral pyre. Before the funeral pyre, family and relatives embraced Ghuman's body and held it. A large crowd gathered at the Model Town crematorium to bid him farewell.

He died on Thursday after suffering two heart attacks during an operation at Fortis Hospital in Amritsar. His friends alleged negligence on the part of the hospital administration, leading to a heated debate between friends and doctors.

Meanwhile, the hospital has now issued a statement. The hospital stated that Ghuman was admitted to the hospital on October 6th due to pain and difficulty moving his right shoulder. After examination, doctors recommended bicep tenodesis surgery with arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. The patient had no other serious medical conditions.

The surgery on October 9th proceeded normally, and the patient's condition remained stable. But at around 3:35 pm, he suddenly suffered a heart attack. The team immediately began efforts, but despite continuous efforts, he could not be revived. He was declared dead at 5:36 pm.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan expressed his condolences on Ghuman's death. He wrote on social media, "Rest in peace Para, will miss Paaji."

Nephew said, "Uncle's belly was bumping."
Varinder Ghuman's nephew, Harmanjit Singh, stated that his uncle's belly was bumping, so he went to Fortis Hospital in Amritsar for muscle surgery. Furthermore, his manager, Yadwinder Singh, who was in Dubai at the time, stated that Varinder had been complaining of pain for some time and had mentioned it recently.
