A shock to Khan Saab..! After his mother, his father passed away.

Iqbal Muhammad (70), father of renowned Punjabi singer Khan Saab, passed away. He suffered a heart attack while bathing in the bathroom on Monday morning. He was then taken to a hospital in Jalandhar, where doctors declared him dead.

Khan Saab's mother, Parveen Begum, had passed away 17 days earlier. Khan Saab's father was deeply saddened by this. Khan Saab cancelled a show in Canada and returned to Kapurthala to bury his mother.

Khan Saab's father appeared visibly distressed during this time. He was deeply shocked by the loss of his wife. The loss of his parents within a span of three weeks has left the singer and his family in mourning.

According to family sources, Khan Saab's father will be buried tomorrow (Tuesday, October 14) in his village, Bhandal Dona.

Khan Saab was in Canada at the time of his mother's death.

Khan's mother, Salma Parveen, passed away on September 26. Singer Khan Saab had a show in Surrey, Canada that day. He had organized the show to raise funds for those affected by the floods in Punjab, India and Pakistan. However, before the show, the singer received news of his mother's death. He canceled the show in Canada and returned to India that night. He flew directly from Delhi airport to his ancestral village, Bhandal Dona, in Kapurthala, where his mother was buried.

Singer Khan Saab was born in Kapurthala, Punjab. His real name is Imran Khan. While working on an album with Punjabi singer Garry Sandhu, Sandhu changed his name to Khan Saab. Khan Saab himself revealed this on Kapil Sharma's show. After this, he himself has been working in the Punjabi music industry under the same name.
