Punjab Police arrests three henchmen of terrorist Pannu; Khalistani slogans written in Bathinda schools
Punjab Police has arrested three individuals associated with the terrorist organization "Sikhs for Justice." They were writing pro-Khalistan slogans on the walls of schools in Bhisiana and Mananwala villages in Bathinda.
This action was being carried out at the behest of the organization's US-based chief, Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. DGP Gaurav Yadav stated that the accused are being interrogated, although their identities have not yet been revealed.
Earlier this year, several cases of Khalistani posters attributed to Pannu were reported. Four FIRs were registered against Pannu and his associates, leading to the arrest of 12 people.
Funding from abroad
Initial police investigations have revealed that the accused received foreign funding for this purpose, which is why they engaged in anti-national activities. The three were attempting to incite unrest by writing inflammatory slogans. Police took action and arrested them. Police are now investigating how long they had been associated with Pannu. The police are also investigating whether he has previously committed any crimes in other districts of Punjab.
