Haryana school timings changed: Schools will open at 10 am on Durga Ashtami.
School timings have been changed in Haryana on Durga Ashtami. The Directorate of School Education has issued a letter to all District Education Officers and District Elementary Education Officers in the state. Accordingly, on September 30 (Tuesday), the school timings for all government schools will be from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
In schools with double shifts, the first shift will be from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The second shift timings will remain the same as other days, with no changes.
Decision taken regarding Navratri Puja
An order issued by the Directorate of School Education stated that Navratri is ongoing. On Durga Ashtami, Kanjak Puja is performed in homes in the morning. Keeping this in mind, the Education Department has taken this decision. This order is only for Durga Ashtami. After this, schools will open as usual.
Students and teachers will receive a two-hour reprieve
Currently, the time schedule in government schools is from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. According to an order issued by the Education Department, schools have been granted approximately two hours of relaxation on Durga Ashtami so that everyone can perform morning prayers and Kanya Pujan.
