DIG Bhullar Case : The CBI produced former DIG of Punjab Police Harcharan Singh Bhullar after 5 days of remand and Dalal Krishna in the special CBI court in Chandigarh.
DIG Bhullar Case : The CBI produced former DIG of Punjab Police Harcharan Singh Bhullar after 5 days of remand and Dalal Krishna in the special CBI court in Chandigarh. The court has sent former DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar to 5-day remand and Krishna to 14-day judicial custody.
Earlier, the CBI had produced former DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar in court on November 1 and obtained a 5-day remand.

It is worth mentioning that on October 16, the CBI arrested Krishna Sharda while accepting a bribe of Rs 5 lakh from a scrap dealer. He was taking this amount in the name of the then DIG of Ropar Range, Harcharan Singh Bhullar. After this, the CBI also arrested Bhullar. After Bhullar's arrest, the CBI seized Rs 7.5 crore in cash and 2.5 kg of gold ornaments during a raid at his residence in Sector 40, Chandigarh.
Apart from this, 26 luxury watches including Rolex, over 50 immovable property documents in the names of family members and suspected benami entities, locker keys, details of several bank accounts and four weapons with 100 cartridges were also seized during the search.
The CBI had recently registered a new case of disproportionate assets against Harcharan Singh Bhullar.
