Are you getting angry? Suryakumar Yadav mocked a Pakistani journalist, replied in Rohit's style.
After winning the Asia Cup 2025 final, Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav attended a press conference with Abhishek Sharma. During the meeting, a Pakistani journalist questioned Surya about Team India's behavior, stating that India did not shake hands with Pakistani players or do a photoshoot with Salman Ali Agha. Surya responded to the Pakistani journalist's political question in Rohit's style.
Due to the Pahalgam attack, people were protesting the India-Pakistan match. Meanwhile, the Indian players also decided to play the match but would not shake hands with Pakistani players before or after the match. Suryakumar Yadav even refused to accept the trophy from PCB chief and ACC president Mohsin Naqvi.
After the match, a Pakistani journalist asked Suryakumar Yadav, "The way you behaved with the Pakistan team throughout this tournament—you didn't shake hands, you didn't do a photoshoot for the trophy, and then you held a political press conference. Do you think you're the first captain to bring politics into cricket?"
Suryakumar Yadav gave this answer
Suryakumar Yadav first asked, "Do you want to speak or not?" Then, laughing, he said, in the style of a meme video, "Are you angry? You didn't even know the question, and you asked four." A meme is going viral on social media, in which it says you're angry. Everyone present burst out laughing at Surya's response.

Suryakumar Yadav spoke on not being presented with the trophy
A journalist asked, "What happened today? The BCCI sent an email to the ACC saying we won't accept the trophy from Mohsin Naqvi. Is this an official decision or your personal decision?" Surya replied, "I don't know which email you're referring to, but we made this decision on the field. And we were waiting. When you win, when you play so well, do you deserve the trophy or not?" The journalist then said yes, to which Surya replied, "You've already answered that."
