The suicide case of senior Haryana IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar remains unresolved. Even on the seventh day, no consensus has been reached on a postmortem. The late IPS officer's IAS wife, Amanit P. Kumar, is adamant on the arrest of DGP Shatrughan Kapoor and former Rohtak SP Narendra Bijarnia.

On Monday, Telangana Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka visited Amanit. He stated that his state's Chief Minister would also visit soon. Puran Kumar was originally from Andhra Pradesh. Telangana was formed after the separation from Andhra Pradesh. Union Minister Ramdas Athawale also visited to express condolences.

Union Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu stated that he spoke with Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini regarding the matter. Chief Minister Saini stated that the Haryana government would make some serious decisions today.

Chandigarh Police sent a notice to the IPS officer's wife, Amneet P. Kumar, asking her to complete the identification process. The Chandigarh administration will conduct the postmortem by PGI doctors. This board will also include a ballistics expert and a magistrate.

The Punjab State Scheduled Caste Commission has also taken cognizance of IPS Puran Kumar's suicide case and requested a report from the Chandigarh DGP.

Punjab Minister Advises the Governor
Punjab Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema issued a statement, saying, "It is very sad that Y. Puran Kumar, who came from a poor family, achieved this position. It has been seven days and his family has not received justice. They spoke to the Chief Minister and senior officials about the injustice being done to him, but they have not received justice. The state of the state is very unfortunate. If a senior IPS officer is not getting justice, what will happen to others? This case should be investigated impartially, and the family should get justice." Strictest action should be taken against the accused. We are with the family and will work to get them justice.

The Haryana government is trying to protect the culprits. The Haryana government should immediately take action in this matter. Initially, no FIR was filed and when it was filed, it was evasive. No officer is above the law. Even a sub-inspector can arrest the DGP. Reacting to the statement of the Punjab Governor, he said that he should maintain the dignity of the Constitution. He should follow what is written in the Constitution. I would like to tell the Governor not to protect the accused.
