Officials of companies trafficking fentanyl precursors will also be identified by the embassy when applying for visas to the US. The US Embassy also thanked the Indian government for its cooperation in combating drug trafficking. The US Embassy stated, "Individuals, organizations, and their families involved in the illicit production and trafficking of narcotics into the United States will face serious consequences."
