3 trucks collided on the highway in Kurukshetra: Himachal driver died

Three trucks collided on Delhi-Chandigarh National Highway-44 in Kurukshetra, Haryana. The driver of the PB 13 BF 1809 truck died in this accident. The driver of this truck got stuck between the divider and the truck and died on the spot. The accident happened around 4:30 in the morning.

According to the information, the deceased was identified as Rakesh Kumar (44), resident of Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. Rakesh Kumar used to drive a truck for a company. Rakesh was going from Delhi to Ambala with iron goods in the truck. The police have informed Rakesh's family about the accident.

Rakesh got down to use the bathroom

Rakesh stopped his truck near Sanwala village on NH-44 and got down to use the bathroom. Meanwhile, a truck with Haryana number plate hit his truck from behind. Soon, a third truck also collided with it from behind. After this strong collision, the drivers of the two rear trucks got stuck in the cabin.

Crushed between truck and divider
During this time Rakesh got crushed between his truck and the divider wall. His torso fell on the other side after getting cut from the wall. People nearby pulled out the people trapped in the truck and informed the police. Police sent the injured drivers to the hospital for treatment through ambulance.

On the other hand, investigating officer SI Om Prakash said that the body has been taken into custody and sent for postmortem. Rakesh's brother was with him at the time of the incident, but is very scared after the accident. Rakesh's family has been informed. Action will be taken on the basis of the statement.
