Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann discharged from hospital: was admitted in Mohali for 6 days
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was discharged from the hospital after 6 days. On Thursday afternoon at 4:35 pm, he came out of Fortis Hospital in Mohali. During this, he greeted the people standing outside by waving his hand and then left for the Chief Minister's residence in Chandigarh.
On the evening of September 5, the Chief Minister was brought to the hospital after complaining of slow heartbeat and weakness. CM Mann could not attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Punjab tour on September 9. However, the PM had asked Governor Gulab Chand Kataria about his health.
After this, Kataria reached the hospital and met the CM. The CM also held a meeting with the officials regarding the flood from the hospital itself.
Health deteriorated on September 3
On September 2, CM Bhagwant Mann visited flood-affected Ferozepur. After this, his health deteriorated on the night of September 3. On the morning of September 4, Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal reached the CM residence in Chandigarh to meet him. After this, the CM cancelled his program to visit the flood affected areas of Punjab with Kejriwal.
On the evening of 5 September, when his health deteriorated, he was admitted to Fortis Hospital. Due to his deteriorating health, the cabinet meeting scheduled for Friday evening also had to be postponed.
