Daljit Dosanjh's foundation started helping in Gurdaspur: repaired Dhussi dam, preparations to rehabilitate 10 villages

In Gurdaspur on Wednesday, Daljit Dosanjh's Sanjh Foundation and Global Sikh Sanstha started the work of repairing the broken Dhussi dams of the Ravi river. Along with this, the work of rehabilitation of 10 villages has also started. Work on the damaged Dhussi dam in village Thatthi Faridpur of Dinanagar was started with Ardaas.

Sonali Singh of Sanjh Foundation and Amarpreet Singh of Global Sikh Sanstha made this announcement in the presence of SDM Jaspinder Singh. He said that wherever needed in Punjab, the damaged Dhussi dam and roads will be repaired.

Dhussi dam broken at 14 places

Dhussi dam has broken at 14 places in Dinanagar. The administration has started the repair work at Makoda Patan. SDM Jaspinder Singh said that the administration will provide full technical help to these organizations. The damage caused by the flood in Ramdas area has been assessed. The damage can be assessed properly only after the water recedes.
