17th Employment Fair: PM distributes 51,000 job letters; says,

PM Modi distributed job letters to over 51,000 youth at the 17th Employment Fair on Friday. He also delivered a message to the youth via video conferencing. He said, "You haven't just received a government job; you've received an opportunity to actively contribute to the service of the nation."

The PM further said, "This year, Diwali, the festival of lights, has brought new light into all of your lives. Receiving an appointment letter for a permanent job amidst the festivities is a double joy of celebration and the double happiness of success. This joy has been experienced by over 51,000 youth across the country today."

The PM said, "I can feel the joy in all your families. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all of you and your families. I extend my best wishes for this new beginning in life. Your enthusiasm and capacity for hard work are born of dreams coming true.

When combined with self-confidence and the passion to do something for the country, your success will not be merely personal. Your success will become the nation's success." You know that for us, 'Nagrik Devo Bhava' is our mantra. For the last 11 years, the country has been moving forward with the resolve to build a developed India. Our youth play a major role in this. All of you. That is why empowering youth is a priority for the BJP and the NDA government.

A New Platform for Youth: Pratibha Setu Portal: PM

Referring to another platform for jobs, the PM said, "The Pratibha Setu Portal is another major step for youth. Candidates who reached the final list of UPSC but were not selected will no longer have their hard work wasted. Therefore, private and public institutions can invite these youth through this portal, conduct interviews, and provide opportunities. This proper utilization of youth talent will bring India's youth potential to the world's attention."

Employment Fairs Held at 40 Locations Across the Country

Employment fairs were held at 40 locations across the country. The last job fair was held on July 12th. The Prime Minister launched the first phase of the job fair on October 22nd, 2022. More than 9.73 lakh people have been employed so far.
