 Shoaib and Aamir's troubles increase, court sends them to NIA remand, many secrets may be revealed

The NIA presented two accused arrested in connection with the Red Fort blast case before a Delhi court on Wednesday (November 26, 2025). The accused, Shoaib and Aamir Rashid Ali, were presented before Principal District and Sessions Justice Anju Bajaj Chandana. The court remanded Shoaib, an accused in the case, to 10 days of NIA custody. The NIA had requested further remand for Aamir, who was granted seven days of custody. Shoaib is accused of harboring terrorist Umar. Aamir Rashid is the first accused in the case, and Shoaib is the seventh.

Shoaib is part of a white-collar terror module

The NIA arrested Shoaib from Faridabad for allegedly harboring Dr. Umar Un Nabi, who drove the explosives-laden car near the Red Fort. According to the NIA, Shoaib, a resident of Dhauj, Faridabad, provided equipment to terrorist Umar. The Jammu Police has exposed him as a white-collar terror module.

The NIA stated, "The investigating agency is working on various leads related to the suicide attack and is conducting search operations in various states in coordination with the concerned police forces in an effort to identify and apprehend other individuals involved in this heinous attack."\

According to the investigating agency, Shoaib not only sheltered Umar in his home but also helped him deliver explosives, provide safe routes, and escape. Investigation of his location and call details has revealed several startling revelations. The NIA suspects that Shoaib may be linked to a larger terrorist network. The NIA has intensified raids in several states across the country. Simultaneous search operations are underway in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
