Shocking Crime in Amritsar: Woman Murders Mother-in-law Using 'AC Repair' Excuse, Fakes Robbery

In Indira Colony, Jhabbal Road, Amritsar, a mother-in-law was murdered by her daughter-in-law. The daughter-in-law called her boyfriend to repair the air conditioner and then went into her room, suffocating her with a pillow.

Significantly, the daughter-in-law called the police and filed a complaint of theft and murder. However, during the investigation, the police questioned the daughter-in-law based on suspicion, and she became entangled in their questions.

This led to the arrest of the daughter-in-law and her boyfriend. The police presented them in court and sent them to jail. Both confessed that their mother-in-law was becoming a hindrance in their illicit relationship. Therefore, they removed her from the way when no one was home.

The daughter-in-law had filed a murder complaint

According to Amritsar Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, this case involves the murder of 65-year-old Kamlesh Rani, a resident of Indira Colony, Jhabbal Road, Amritsar. The complaint of her murder was filed by her daughter-in-law, Minty Sharma.

Minty told the police that on March 9th, only her mother-in-law, Kamlesh Rani, and Minty herself were present. Meanwhile, some unknown men entered the house, committed a theft, and then smothered her mother-in-law, Kamlesh Rani, who was sleeping in her room, to death with a pillow.

Investigation Reveals Daughter-in-law's Illicit Relationship

After receiving the complaint, the police began a serious investigation. They considered other aspects beyond theft and murder. The investigation revealed a shocking revelation: the complainant, Minty Sharma, had an illicit relationship with Dalveer Singh, alias Ladi, who also lived in Indira Colony.

The deceased, Kamlesh Rani, frequently opposed this relationship, and this led to frequent quarrels within the family. Further investigation revealed that Minty Sharma, along with her lover, Dalveer Singh, conspired to eliminate her mother-in-law.

Everyone went to a wedding, the same day was chosen.

March 9th was chosen as part of the plan, when other family members were away in Dinanagar, Pathankot, to attend a wedding. Minty Sharma and her mother-in-law, Kamlesh Rani, were at home. Meanwhile, Minty called her lover, Dalveer Singh, to the house on the pretext of fixing the AC.

According to the police, Minty and Dalveer took advantage of the situation and went to Kamlesh Rani's room. There, they suffocated her with a pillow. After struggling for a while, Kamlesh Rani died of suffocation.

Attempted to make the murder look like a burglary

Police say that after the murder, the accused broke the cupboards in the room and scattered the items to mislead the police. However, based on the evidence collected, the police discovered the truth and arrested both accused.
