The Ram Temple in Ayodhya was completed today. 673 days after its consecration, PM Modi and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat hoisted the flag at the top of the temple. At 11:50 am, during the Abhijit Muhurta, the 2-kilogram saffron flag fluttered atop the 161-foot-high peak. The PM was overwhelmed. He bowed to the flag with folded hands.

Before hoisting the flag, PM Modi, along with Mohan Bhagwat, performed puja and aarti at the Ram Darbar on the first floor of the temple. Afterward, they visited Ram Lalla.
