Delhi Schools Update: Now classes will be held online till fifth standard

Delhi Schools Update : As per the latest order issued by the Delhi CM, keeping in mind the health of the students, schools up to class 5 will be conducted on hybrid mode. Classes will be held online.

New Delhi: Delhi Schools Update : As the air quality index (AQI) in the capital Delhi has reached hazardous levels due to increasing pollution levels, the government has implemented GRAP 3 and all safety measures have also been taken.

As per the latest order issued by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, keeping in mind the health of the students, schools up to class V will be conducted on hybrid mode. Classes will be held online.

The Air Quality Management Commission (CQM) on Tuesday implemented GRAP (Graded Response Action Plan) III restrictions in Delhi-NCR to improve air quality. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), on Monday, November 10, Delhi's average AQI was recorded at 362 in the very poor category, which saw a rapid increase.

Due to favorable weather conditions, Delhi's AQI has been recorded in the severe category at 425 today, Tuesday, i.e., November 11, at 9:00 am. Under the restrictions of GRAP III, demolition of buildings, non-essential construction work and old diesel vehicles will now be banned in the NCR.
