New twist in the 'handshake controversy', BCCI reacts to Pakistan's complaint! A big revelation

On 14 September, India defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in the Asia Cup. After the match ended, the players of Team India did not shake hands with the Pakistan team (India vs Pakistan no hand shake). Later, news came that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has complained about this incident to the Asian Cricket Council. Now a Times Now report claims that BCCI has not received any notice of such a complaint.

Earlier, news agency PTI had reported that Pakistan had lodged a complaint with the Asian Cricket Council. Now, quoting Times Now, a BCCI source has said that the Asian Cricket Council has not sent any notice of such a complaint to the BCCI. Neither the handshake controversy nor the message of complaint about closing the door has been received.

The controversy had started even before the match

There has been a heated debate over the lack of handshake after the match, but the controversy had started even before the match. Actually, during the toss, both the captains usually shake hands, but Suryakumar Yadav and Salman Aga did not even look at each other, let alone shake hands. When Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dubey went to the dressing room without shaking hands with the Pakistani players, the matter escalated. The Indian team even closed the door after going to the dressing room, due to which the controversy became more heated.

Captain Suryakumar had given a strong message

After the match, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav had said, "Our government and BCCI are unanimous. We came here only to play the match and it seems that we have given the right answer. There are some things in life other than sportsmanship. We stand with all the people killed in the Pahalgam terrorist attack and their families. I want to dedicate this victory to all those Indian soldiers who were a part of Operation Sindoor."
