Punjabi youth will be taught Japanese and Korean languages
Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that companies from Japan and South Korea want to come and work here, but they face a language barrier. He said they will teach the youth of Punjab these languages so that they can communicate with them. Previously, Punjabi youth were only learning French, etc. He wants to open doors of employment for Punjabi youth.
He detailed the entire ten-day program and listed the agreements made with companies.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was on a 10-day foreign tour to Japan and South Korea. He was accompanied by Punjab industrialist Sanjeev Gupta, Chief Secretary KAP Sinha, and senior officials from the investment promotion department. The aim of this tour was to attract investment to Punjab.
The government is preparing to organize the Progressive Punjab Business Summit in March of next year. Companies are being contacted to encourage investment in Punjab. Several companies are already coming to the state. Many renowned companies, such as Tata Steel, have already invested in Punjab.

Japanese companies show interest in investing

It was also mentioned that grounded investments worth over ₹1.4 lakh crore have already been secured through Invest Punjab.
