BJP Holds 'Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy' March Against INDIA Bloc Rally; Accuses Congress of Insulting 1984 Riot Victims

In protest against the INDIA bloc's rally at Ramlila Maidan, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a nationwide 'Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy' (Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao) march today, including in the national capital. In Delhi, a one-kilometer-long march was held from Hari Nagar to Tilak Nagar, which saw significant participation from the Sikh community and families of the victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

The BJP alleged that the Congress deliberately chose November 1 for its Ramlila Maidan rally, a day that marks the tragic anniversary of the 1984 anti-Sikh violence.

Meanwhile, BJP leader Nitin Navin led a rally in Rohtak, Haryana, where he launched a scathing attack on the Congress. He accused the party of having a legacy of "vote theft" and disrespecting the mandate of the public. "Rahul Gandhi is working as a toolkit for foreign forces," Navin alleged, adding that Gandhi is attempting to challenge the country's democracy at the behest of foreign entities. "The 140 crore people of this country are watching and know exactly who these people are."

Navin further criticized the Congress for carrying copies of the Constitution today while historically "shredding it to pieces." He recalled the events of November 1, 1984, demanding an apology from Rahul Gandhi to the Sikh community, and referenced former PM Rajiv Gandhi's controversial remark made at the time: "When a big tree falls, the earth shakes."

Union Minister J.P. Nadda also targeted the opposition, stating that the victims of the anti-Sikh violence should have been honored today, but Rahul Gandhi chose to use the occasion to shine his politics at Ramlila Maidan. Highlighting the economic impact of the opposition's rally, Nadda pointed out that this is the festive season when traders hope to do good business.

"The Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) wrote to them four times pleading not to hold such a massive protest, but due to Rahul Gandhi's drama, businesses are facing an estimated loss of ₹10,000 crore," Nadda stated. He questioned the INDIA bloc partners, asking if their hatred for the BJP had blinded them to the struggles of the public and made them complicit in this economic damage. Nadda concluded by accusing Rahul Gandhi of frequently insulting India on foreign soil, asserting that the Indian public will not fall for his deceptions and that he will be held accountable by Delhi's traders.
