Haryana Cabinet Meeting Today: CM Nayab Saini to Discuss ₹50,000 Crore Investments, Amit Shah's Visit & Roadways Strike

A crucial meeting of the Haryana Cabinet will be held today at 11 AM under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. The meeting is scheduled to take place in the main committee room on the fourth floor of the Haryana Civil Secretariat, with all cabinet ministers and senior officials in attendance.

Several important proposals will be tabled for discussion and approval during this session. A major point of focus will be the investment proposals received during the Chief Minister’s recent visit to Gujarat. During the tour, the state attracted investment proposals worth over ₹50,000 crore from various investors. This includes ₹25,000 crore in the defense, real estate, and oil & gas sectors, ₹1,400 crore in agriculture and food processing, and ₹2,900 crore in the semiconductor sector. Notably, MoUs worth approximately ₹12,000 crore were signed on the very first day of the Gujarat tour.

In addition to economic developments, the cabinet will deliberate on the upcoming visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah on November 5 and the proposed statewide strike by Haryana Roadways employees on the same day.

Amit Shah is scheduled to participate in the BJP's 'Prajatantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao' (Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy) padyatra in Karnal, followed by various programs in Ambala. Simultaneously, Haryana Roadways employees have announced a two-day statewide strike to press for their demands. The convergence of these two major events presents a significant administrative challenge for the state government. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Cabinet Minister Anil Vij are actively reviewing the preparations to ensure smooth handling of both the VIP visit and the proposed strike.
