Akhilesh Yadav honored Punjabi singer Mankirt Aulakh

Renowned Punjabi singer Mankirt Aulakh has been honored by former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. Aulakh was given this honor for his work in helping flood victims in Punjab. Akhilesh Yadav also expressed grief over the floods in Punjab.

Akhilesh Yadav said that singer Mankirt is very popular not only in India but also abroad. He is a renowned name in the world of music. He praised him for spending ₹5 crore (approximately $50 million) to help flood victims in Punjab.

Akhilesh Yadav said that the Sikh community has earned a distinct identity in India and abroad through its hard work. The government has not provided the support it should have. Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP's double-engine government is anti-farmer, anti-youth, and anti-women.

The central government has been unable to provide relief to flood victims.

Akhilesh said that the flood problem in Punjab is serious. Millions of people have been affected and are suffering. A large number of animals and humans have been swept away in the floods. The central government has failed to provide relief material to those stranded in flood-affected areas. There are no arrangements for people's safety or animal fodder.

Akhilesh Yadav said that the government should compensate flood-affected families for their losses. Arrangements should be made for medical treatment in flood-affected areas. Arrangements should be made in advance to prevent the spread of diseases that may occur after the floodwaters recede.
