Punjab Govt Steps Up for Citizens Stranded in Arab Countries: Issues Special Helpline and WhatsApp Numbers
The ongoing war between Israel and Iran has left many Punjabi families living in Arab countries in distress. The Punjab government has stepped in to help these people. The government has set up its own control room, providing landline and WhatsApp numbers.
Through this control room, people can contact the number of people who are stranded to help their families. This information was provided by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He shared a post on his social media account, X. Meanwhile, the government is working to gather data on how many of its members are stranded there.
Contacted the Ministry of External Affairs
The Chief Minister wrote in his post that due to the ongoing conflict in Arab countries, many Punjabi families living there are facing difficult circumstances. In response, the Punjab government's NRI wing has released its control room numbers for assistance.

If anyone finds themselves or a family member stranded in these countries, they should contact them immediately. Relevant officials say they are in constant contact with the Ministry of External Affairs and are committed to providing all possible assistance to those in need.
