Services now completely normal
The Chennai Metro Rail stated that the disruption on the Blue Line (from Wimco Nagar Depot to the Airport) may have been due to a power outage or a technical glitch. However, services were restored shortly after. The Metro administration wrote on the X: "Train services on the Blue Line and Green Line are now running normally. We regret the inconvenience."
