It is being claimed that the price of Amitabh's land bought 15 years ago in Shahpur, Gandhinagar in Gujarat has increased 30 times. At the time of Aaradhya's birth in 2011, Amitabh bought about 5.72 acres (14 bighas) of land for 7 crore rupees.
A local Dinesh Thakor claimed that land is now being sold for Rs 15 crore per bigha. In this way, the price of Amitabh's land can be 203 crore rupees. However, no official statement has come from the Registrar's Office regarding this.
On the ground, Amitabh's son Abhishek Bachchan has struck a deal with Mumbai's Lotus Developers for commercial and residential projects. According to this agreement, the developer company will do the design and construction work. However, the land will belong to the Bachchan family. After the work on the project starts, it will take 4 years to complete.
This land was not directly bought by Amitabh Bachchan himself. Rajesh Rishikesh Yadav, MD of ABCL Company, as Power of Attorney (legal representative) made the deal on his behalf. In the year 2011, this land was purchased from Veerambhai Rudabhai Gamara of Chandlodia. Now the land agreement (agreement/deed) is directly registered in the name of Amitabh Bachchan.
ABCL Company was founded in 1995 by Amitabh Bachchan. Later it fell into losses. The company was relaunched as 'AB Corp' after changing from ABCL. AB Corp now works on projects related to film production and entertainment.
Our town is going to become the number one town in India. Regarding this project, HK Patel, who lives in Shahpur town, said in a conversation with Divya Bhaskar that Amitabh Bachchan has bought land in Narendra Modi's dream project Gift City, Shahpur, in which he is going to build nice flats. This will definitely lead to development. Other companies are also investing here. Our town is going to become the number one town in India.
After the construction of Gift City, our village has developed. Prajapati Rajinikanth Rameshbhai, a resident of Shahpur village, said that I am a farmer and after the construction of Gift City, our town has developed. People working in Gift City also live here on rent, which has also increased the income. No house is vacant in our town and the development of the village will continue in the future.
On the evening of January 5, Reliance organized a 'United in Triumph' event in Mumbai, which was attended by big names from Bollywood and sports. Amitabh Bachchan attended the event.
