Former Home Minister P. Chidambaram had raised questions on Pakistani terrorists being held responsible for the Pahalgam terror attack and said what is the proof that the attackers came from Pakistan. Home Minister Amit Shah has answered these questions in Parliament. Giving full information about Operation Mahadev to the Parliament on Tuesday (July 29, 2025), Amit Shah confirmed that the three terrorists killed by the Indian Army on Monday were all Pakistanis and were involved in the Pahalgam terror attack. Amit Shah said that Pakistani voter IDs, Pakistani rifles and Pakistani chocolates have been found from the terrorists.
Amit Shah expressed grief over P. Chidambaram's statement and said that the former Home Minister raised the question whether there is proof that the terrorists of the Pahalgam attack came from Pakistan. He raised these questions when the discussion was about to take place in Parliament. Amit Shah said what does P. Chidambaram want to say. Why does he want to save Pakistan.
He said, 'I want to tell Chidambaram sahab that we have proof that these three were Pakistanis. We have Pakistani voter numbers of two of them. They have Pakistani rifles, the chocolates recovered from them were also made in Pakistan.'
Amit Shah said, 'They say that they were not from Pakistan, which means that the former Home Minister of this country is giving clean chit to Pakistan in front of the whole world. By saying that they were not Pakistani terrorists, P. Chidambaram is also raising the question that why Pakistan was attacked. Our members of Parliament went all over the world, it was to be shown that Pakistan had carried out the attack.'
Amit Shah said that the former Home Minister of the country, who comes from the Congress party, says what is the proof. If you had asked me for proof, I would have given it, if you had asked from TV, you would have exposed it in front of the whole world. Today 130 crore people are knowing about their conspiracy to save Pakistan, you people will not be able to escape.

Former Home Minister P. Chidambaram had said in an interview that it is possible that the people who attacked Pahalgam were from our country, why are we thinking that they came from Pakistan.
