Ludhiana, April 23, 2026: In a shocking incident reported from the industrial hub of Punjab, a hosiery factory worker was brutally murdered inside the factory premises. The victim was reportedly attacked with a heavy wooden stool while he was asleep.

The Incident

According to preliminary reports, the murder took place in a hosiery unit located in the city's industrial area. The victim, an artisan (karigar), had a heated argument with a fellow worker earlier in the day over a minor personal issue. While the victim was sleeping after his shift, the assailant allegedly picked up a stool and struck him repeatedly on the head, killing him on the spot.
