'Chief Minister's Health Scheme': Registration begins in Tarn Taran and Barnala

Registration for insurance under the ‘Chief Minister’s Health Scheme’ has started in Punjab from today.

Camps have been set up in Tarn Taran and Barnala as a pilot project. Long queues are seen waiting to get registered in these camps.

Under the health insurance scheme, every family in Punjab will get Rs 10 lakhs annually for free treatment.

The Punjab government will soon register in other districts of the state and the people of the state will be given the benefits of the scheme.
