Under the Lado Laxmi Yojana in Haryana, women will start getting Rs 2100 from November 1. Cabinet Minister Krishna Bedi has said that the Chief Minister will launch its app on September 25. During this, programs will also be held in the districts.

He told that 20 to 25 women can register from one phone, those who do not have a smart phone will be able to register themselves from a single phone. For this, they do not need to run to the CSR Center.

Krishna Bedi said that Rs 4 thousand 62 crore will be spent annually on this scheme. Women who have been living in Haryana for 15 years will also get the benefit of this scheme.

The CM had announced after the cabinet meeting on August 28 that 18 to 20 lakh women will get Rs 2100 every month under the scheme.

The minister said - worked to make women self-reliant
The cabinet minister said that my department has been given this responsibility. Today sisters are not self-reliant. They had to look at the male members of the family for money. Therefore, the government has started this scheme to make women self-reliant. The government is also running other schemes, so that women can become self-reliant by doing their own business.

Know why the list of beneficiaries has become smaller

23 to 60 years of age is considered eligible: 23 to 60 years of age is considered eligible for the scheme in Haryana. 18 years in Delhi, 21 years is the minimum age for the benefits of the scheme in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh.

Income limit in the state is 1 lakh, 2.5 lakh in MP-Maharashtra: Women of families with an annual income of 1 lakh in Haryana will get the benefit. The income limit in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh is 2.5 lakh rupees. In Karnataka, the woman head of the family gets the benefit in the ration card. If all BPL families in Haryana were considered beneficiaries of the scheme, then women of about 42 lakh families would have been beneficiaries.

The condition of domicile is the most difficult: The applicant should be a permanent resident of Haryana. The unmarried woman herself or the husband of a married woman should be a native of Haryana for the last 15 years. While for widow and destitute pension, one year of residence is also eligible.

Up to 20 lakh women in the first phase

According to the data of the family identity card, there are 17 lakh 25 thousand married women from 23 to 60 years in this income slab in the state. While 2.75 lakh unmarried women from 23 to 45 years are unmarried. CM Naib Saini also said that there will be about 19-20 lakh beneficiaries in the first phase.

What is Lado Laxmi Yojana and its budget

Saini government has named it Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana. Under this, monthly financial assistance will be provided to eligible women. Its goal is to empower women economically and improve their livelihood. This scheme is especially for women below the poverty line (BPL) and low-income group.

The Haryana government has made a provision of ₹5 thousand crores for this scheme. This amount will be transferred directly to the beneficiary's bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
