Payal Malik, wife of Haryana's famous YouTuber Armaan Malik and seen in Bigg Boss OTT season 3, has been given religious punishment by the committee of Kali Mata Temple in Mohali. She will clean the temple for 7 days. On the 8th day, she will perform Kanjak Puja.

Payal had recently made a video dressed as Maa Kali, which was opposed by religious organizations. A complaint was also given to the Mohali Police regarding this. After this, on Tuesday (July 22), she reached the Kali Mata Temple in Patiala with her husband Armaan. Here she apologized. During this, she also served by washing utensils in the temple.

After this, Armaan Malik also reached Kharar in Mohali. However, his wife had not reached at that time. He had apologized at that time too. After this, he reached the temple on Wednesday with his wife Payal and daughter.

When this video went viral, Shiv Sena Hind's national general secretary Dipanshu Sood had given a complaint to the in-charge of Mohali's Dhakoli police station. He wrote in the complaint- Payal Malik presented Maa Kali's form in an insensitive and indecent manner in her video, which hurt the religious sentiments of the followers of Sanatan Dharma.
