70 mayors from 21 states are participating

More than 70 mayors from 21 states across the country are participating in this two-day meeting in Karnal. This conference has been organized to further strengthen the role of mayors, improve urban governance and discuss future development plans of cities.

Harvinder Kalyan and Vipul Goyal will arrive on September 3

On the last day of the conference i.e. on September 3, Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan and the state's local body minister Vipul Goyal will also be present. Karnal MLA Jagmohan Anand, Indri MLA Ram Kumar Kashyap, Assandh MLA Yogendra Rana and Nilokheri MLA Bhagwan Das Kabirpanthi will also share their views.

Three devotees from Karnal in Haryana died in a road accident in UP, while 5 were injured. All these people were going to Haridwar for Ganga bath after the successful completion of the camp in Kanwar Yatra.

All eight devotees were travelling in an eco car. As soon as they reached Saharanpur in UP, their car collided with a tractor-trolley full of fertilizer parked on the roadside. The accident was so severe that 3 people died on the spot.

On receiving the information, Saharanpur police admitted the injured to the district hospital, from where one was referred to Chandigarh Higher Center. Four other injured were sent to Kalpana Chawla Medical College in Karnal.

UP Police handed over the bodies of the three deceased to their families after conducting post-mortem. Police say that this accident happened due to high speed. The damaged car has also been taken into custody.

The devotees were residents of Kalvehdi village of Karnal

According to the police, the deceased were identified as 32-year-old Praveen alias Rinku, 50-year-old Prithvi Singh and 55-year-old Moti Ram, residents of Kalvehdi village of Karnal. These three, as team members, used to set up a camp for Kanwariyas in the village every year. After setting up the camp on Shivratri, everyone used to go to Haridwar for Ganga bath. According to relative Bahadur Singh, all the members left the village for Haridwar in an Eco car at 10 pm on Friday night.

Could not see due to bright light in front

According to relative Bahadur Singh, as soon as the Eco car reached near Pingota village in Nakur area of Saharanpur at around 12 in the night, a big vehicle was coming from the front. It hit the upper light, which hit the driver's eyes. Due to this, nothing could be seen in front and the Eco collided with a tractor-trolley parked on the side of the road.

Car badly damaged in the accident, 3 died

According to the police, the accident was so severe that the car was badly damaged from the front. Out of these, Praveen alias Rinku, Prithvi Singh and Moti Ram died on the spot, while 5 people including Sunil, Brijpal were seriously injured. Saharanpur police, which reached the spot, admitted all the injured to the district hospital, while the bodies were sent to the postmortem house.

Family members ran crying as soon as they got the information
When the news of the accident was given in village Kalvehdi, there was mourning in all three families. The family members reached the district hospital of Saharanpur crying and got information about the case. By then the police had sent a seriously injured devotee to Chandigarh Higher Center. The family members brought four to Kalpana Chawla Medical College in Karnal. On the other hand, the postmortem of all three was done in Saharanpur itself.

Brijpal did not want to go, his companions took him
Brijpal's brother-in-law Bahadur Singh said that this is a very sad incident, in which three people have died and five have been injured. He said that Brijpal did not even want to go, but his companions forcibly took him with them and this accident happened on the way.

A mountain of sorrows has fallen on the family
The deceased Praveen Kumar has two small children, one of whom is a boy and a girl. His wife and mother are in a bad state due to constant crying. His wife is fainting repeatedly. On the other hand, the deceased Prithvi Singh has two sons, one of whom is married and the other is unmarried. On the other hand, the deceased Motiram has four children, two of whom are boys and two girls. All of them are married.

The mistake of the electricity corporation in Karnal, Haryana has proved costly for a family. The family, who was upset due to disconnection of the electricity connection due to pending bills, has now been given a bill of Rs 1.45 crore.

When the family reached the corporation office to get it fixed, the officers there advised them to go to the power minister Anil Vij. The officers told them that if the minister finds some solution then it is fine, otherwise there is no hope.

The family was making rounds when a notice to confiscate the land was sent. The family members say that on seeing this, the head of the family got a heart attack. They say that there is no electricity in their house for one and a half years. The studies of the daughter, who is preparing for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam, have also stopped. Even the business has come to a standstill. They have nothing left.

On the other hand, in this regard, the SDO of the electricity corporation says that the family has lost the legal battle of the electricity pending bill in the court. Due to a mistake of the corporation, the pending bill is appearing higher.

Irregularities in meter readings came to light in 2014: Vinod, who lives in Kunjpura village, said that in 2014, the meter on my saw machine was showing very high readings and ADI. I called the then SDO Krishna Lal and JE Ram Singh. Then the SDO told me that my readings have increased, which is 26 kW, while the connection is of 20 kW. I told the officials that the load has increased by 6 kW, which means there must be some deficiency in the meter, because last month the bill was Rs 2 thousand.

The officials had imposed a penalty of Rs 12 thousand: Vinod further said that the officials had found an increased reading of about 21 thousand. On this, the officials had imposed a penalty of Rs 12 thousand on me, which I paid immediately. After this, both the officials also made a bill of about 1 lakh 20 thousand for 21 thousand units. I was told that I will have to pay this bill. I said that this is wrong, because a new meter has been installed only last month, then how did such a high bill come. We went to court regarding this matter.

Case went to court, officials presented false documents: Vinod told that the case was started in the court by paying 30 thousand rupees of the bill. The court ordered to keep paying the current bill and when the decision of this bill comes, it will be settled later. We kept paying the current bill. During the court case itself, the officials of the Electricity Corporation changed my NDS connection to MS connection with the power of their pen, which meant that every month a bill of 25 to 30 thousand would have to come. I also kept tolerating this injustice of the officials.

Connection disconnected in December 2023: Vinod told that in 2023, the Electricity Corporation made a bill for one year and gave it to me, which was about one lakh 34 thousand rupees. Whereas the current bill should come in one or two months. I paid the bill in installments, but I could not pay the entire bill. On this, my meter was uprooted in December 2023. Even the meter was taken for lab test, where no discrepancy was found.

Resentment being kept on complaining to the minister: Vinod told that the officials had given electricity connection to two people without the permission of the forest department. In this case, the officials had taken five lakh rupees as bribe, which I opposed. I had given their complaint to the then minister Karnadev Kamboj. In this, the officials had compromised and said not to complain. I also agreed to their words. Since then, the officials have been holding a grudge against me and under this grudge my connection was cut.

When applied for domestic connection, 1.45 crore was told to be due: Vinod told that after facing trouble for one and a half years without electricity, in the last week of May 2025, I had applied for a one kilowatt domestic connection in the name of my wife Saroj. On May 30, the electricity corporation rejected the file and gave the reason that we have an amount of 1.45 crores pending on us. After this, I applied for a connection on July 1 in the name of my father Gyanchand, but this file was also rejected. The reason given for this was also that the amount is pending, but the officials are not telling what this amount is for.

A conspiracy was hatched to trap me in a theft case

Vinod told that the people of the electricity corporation hatched a conspiracy to trap me. They said that you start the light in your house, I refused them. Because we did not know how to install the light. Then the officials asked their lineman to give a wire to the house and the next day implicated me in a case of electricity theft. This is a false case.

Taking electricity from the neighbor is also prohibited, the electricity people threaten me

Vinod alleges that when he tries to take electricity from the neighbors, the employees of the electricity corporation threaten him. They also threaten the neighbors that they will trap them. In such a situation, they are left with no option. Without electricity, even household work is not being done.

Daughter's studies stopped, had to give up UPSC preparation

Daughter Hema told that she was preparing for UPSC, but now studies have completely stopped for one and a half years. There is no electricity in the house. Inverter does not work. Laptop does not charge. Father's work has stopped, there is no money. In such a situation, neither studies are being done nor is there any hope left.

Husband got heart attack after notice, will go to meet the minister

Vinod's wife Saroj told that on July 5, the Electricity Corporation issued a notice for attachment of the land. On the second day of this notice, on July 6, the husband had a heart attack and had to be admitted to the hospital. The family is completely broken. They say that they just need a small connection so that they can start work and

हरियाणा में करनाल में इनोवा कार यमुना नहर में गिर गई। कार में सवार दोनों दोस्तों की मौत हो गई। एक का शव 13 घंटे तो दूसरे का 18 घंटे बाद मिला। शवों की तलाश तके लिए NDRF की टीम भी बुलाया गया था।

दोनों यमुनानगर से करनाल में रिश्तेदार के यहां होली खेलने के लिए गए थे। यहां होली खेलने के बाद एक दोस्त को घर छोड़ने गए थे। इस दौरान उनके साथ हादसा हो गया। मृतकों की पहचान संदीप (38) और दलबीर (50) साढौरा (यमुनानगर) के रूप में हुई है। हादसा शुक्रवार रात को करीब साढ़े 9 बजे हुआ।

शुक्रवार को संदीप और दलबीर करनाल के इंद्री में रिश्तेदार के घर होली खेलने के लिए इनोवा कार में आए थे। होली खेलने के बाद रात को एक दोस्त को छोड़ने के लिए धनौरा गांव गए थे।

धनौरा गांव से वापस आते वक्त जब वह पश्चिमी यमुना नहर पर बने पुल पर चढ़ने लगे तो अचानक कार का संतुलन बिगड़ गया। इससे गाड़ी नहर में जा गिरी। हादसे के बाद आसपास के ग्रामीण मौके पर पहुंचे और तुरंत पुलिस को सूचना दी।

पूरी रात चले रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन के बावजूद कोई सुराग नहीं मिला, लेकिन सुबह 10 बजे संदीप का शव बरामद हो गया। साढ़े 5 घंटे बाद कार और दलबीर का शव भी मिल गया।

घटना की सूचना मिलते ही इंद्री पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची। इंद्री थाना के SHO विपिन कुमार ने बताया कि पश्चिमी यमुना नहर के पुल के पास मोड़ है। मोड़ पर ही गाड़ी बेकाबू होकर सीधी नहर में गिरी। शवों को कब्जे में लेकर करनाल के कल्पना चावला मेडिकल कॉलेज भेज दिया है, जहां पोस्टमॉर्टम के बाद परिजनों को सौंप दिए जाएंगे।

जानकारी के अनुसर संदीप टैक्सी चलाता था। वह 6 बहनों का इकलौता भाई था। उसके 2 बच्चे लड़का और लड़की हैं। वहीं दलबीर खेतीबाड़ी का काम करता था। इसके भी 2 बच्चे लड़का और लड़की हैं।

 केंद्रीय मंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर करनाल पहुंचे। मनोहर लाल ने कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ नगर निगम चुनाव को लेकर चर्चा की। करनाल नगर निगम चुनाव को लेकर पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और मौजूदा केंद्रीय मंत्री मनोहर लाल ने खुद  कमान संभाली है ।केंद्रीय मंत्री ने कहा नगर निकाय चुनाव चल रहे हैं कुछ सीटों पर उपचुनाव भी हो रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि सोनीपत और अंबाला की मेयर विधानसभा चुनाव में चुनाव लड़ी थे जिसके चलते अब वहां पर उपचुनाव हो रहा है। भारतीय जनता पार्टी सभी जगह पार्टी के चुनाव चिन्ह पर चुनाव लड़ रही है। नगर परिषद और नगर निगम के सभी चुनाव सिंबल पर लड़े जा रहे हैं जबकि नगर पालिका में सभी को छूट दे दी गई है कि वह अपनी इच्छा अनुसार चुनाव लड़ सकते हैं। क्योंकि नगर पालिका का चुनाव बहुत छोटा होता है। 

जहां-जहां भारतीय जनता पार्टी के चुनाव चिन्ह पर प्रत्याशी चुनाव लड़ रहे हैं सभी पर भारतीय जनता पार्टी को अच्छा समर्थन मिल रहा है। हरियाणा में सभी शहरी सरकार आने वाले समय में भारतीय जनता पार्टी की बनने जा रही है।

2 तारीख को चुनाव है 3 दिन का समय बाकी है 26 27 और 28 पानीपत के चुनाव में अभी समय है। नगर निगम में काम करवाने के लिए जो वादे किए हैं उनका पूरा करवाने का काम किया जाएगा प्रदेश सरकार नगर निगम का संकल्प पत्र 3 दिन पहले जारी कर चुकी है। आज करनाल निगम का संकल्प पत्र जारी किया गया है। शहरो की जो समस्या होती है उनको गंभीरता से लिया गया है और संकल्प  पत्र में डाला गया है। हमने पहले भी बहुत काम किए हैं और आगे भी बहुत काम किए जाएंगे। करनाल में बहुत कम काम बचे हैं लेकिन आगे आने वाले समय में वह सब पूरे कर दिए जाएंगे। 

करनाल को स्मार्ट सिटी बनाने के लिए लगातार काम किया जा रहा है दूसरे शहरों को भी इस तर्ज पर विकसित किया जाएगा और उनका विकास किया जाएगा। शहर में आधुनिक लाइब्रेरी बनाने का भी प्रावधान रखा गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमने केंद्र सरकार का भी जो विभाग मेरे अंदर आता है एक लाख करोड रुपए बजट रखा है जिसमें सीवरेज इत्यादि पर काम किया जाएगा। अवैध कॉलोनी को वैध करके उनको मालिकाना हक दिया जाएगा। करनाल को प्रदूषण करने के लिए पांच ई बस आ गई है आगे और जरूरत होगी तो और भी नहीं जाएगी। दुनिया में इस बात की चिंता हो रही है कि किस प्रकार से प्रदूषण को रोका जाए इसके चलते 10 साल से पुराने डीजल के वहां पर भी पाबंदी लगाई जाती है। शहर में पार्किंग की बहुत ज्यादा समस्या रहती है  इस पर भी काम किया जाएगा, स्मार्ट पार्किंग बनाई जाएगी और सड़कों को भी दुरुस्त किया जाएगा। करनाल में ट्रैफिक जाम जहां जहां होता है उसके ऊपर भी काम किया जा रहा है। रिक्शा स्टैंड जहां-जहां कमी है उसको भी बनाया जाएगा ।

शहर में जहां-जहां बरसात के दिनों में पानी खड़ा होता है उसे पर पहले भी काम किया गया है और आगे भी काम किया जाएगा। लाइटों की व्यवस्था, नालियों की व्यवस्था गलियों की व्यवस्था, अब प्रकार की व्यवस्था की जा रही है। शहर में कई स्थानों पर अतिक्रमण देखने को मिलता है जिस अव्यवस्था होती है उस पर भी काम किया जाएगा। बरसात के दिनों में डेंगू की समस्या रहती है उसे पर भी काम किया जाएगा ताकि करनाल को डेंगू मुक्त शहर बनाया जा सके। शहर में कहीं भी पानी नहीं खड़े रहने दिया जाएगा ताकि मच्छर ना पनपे।
शहर में जहां भी सीसीटीवी कैमरे की आवश्यकता है वहां पर सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाए जाएंगे। शहर में अगर कोई घटना होती है उस पर भी नजर बनी रहेगी, इसलिए सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाए जाएंगे।

1984 दंगों पर आए फैसले को लेकर उन्होंने कहा कि उन्होंने कहा कि जो निकले कोर्ट के फैसले होते हैं लोग बड़ी कोर्ट में अपील करते हैं लेकिन यह सुप्रीम कोर्ट का फैसला है। कुछ लोगों को फांसी की सजा दिलवाना चाहते होंगे लेकिन उनको फांसी की सजा ना देकर उम्र कैद की सजा दी है। लेकिन हमें कोर्ट के फैसले का सामान करना चाहिए और यह अच्छा फैसला है लोगों को लंबे समय बाद इंसाफ मिला है। रैपिड मेट्रो करनाल में आने को लेकर उन्होंने कहा कि हम नई तकनीक पर काम कर रहे हैं। हम चाहते हैं की नई तकनीक के साथ रैपिड मेट्रो करनाल में आए। अधिकारी और विभाग इस पर काम कर रहा है।

उन्होंने कहा कि मैं आज निकाय चुनाव को लेकर नहीं आया था मैं एक धार्मिक कार्यक्रम में शामिल होने के लिए आया था लेकिन मैं फिर भी जनता से अपील करता हूं कि वह भारतीय जनता पार्टी के विकास कार्यों को देखते हुए उनका समर्थन दे हमने हर वर्ग के लिए काम किए हैं हमारे जो पहले मेयर रेनू बाला गुप्ता है उन्होंने बहुत काम किया है और उनके विकास कार्य को देते हुए हमें अच्छा जन समर्थन भी मिल रहा है। 

कांग्रेस नेता के भारतीय जनता पार्टी में शामिल होने पर उन्होंने कहा की पार्टी में जो आना जाता है उसका हम स्वागत करते हैं लेकिन जब उनसे सवाल पूछा गया कि मुख्यमंत्री ने खुद कहा है कि चुनाव के समय कांग्रेस के नेताओं ने उनकी हेल्प की थी और क्या आप उन पर विश्वास कर सकते हैं उन्होंने कहा कि कोई अगर आता है तो हम उसका स्वागत करते हैं। 

अरविंद केजरीवाल के पंजाब से राज्यसभा जाने के सवाल पर उन्होंने कहा कि इसके बारे में  वही जानते हैं।

डंकी रूट से जाने के मामले में जब उनसे पूछा गया तो उन्होंने कहा कि डंकी रूट से विदेश में नहीं जाना चाहिए इसमें उनकी जान को खतरा होता है और उनको कहीं प्रकार की प्रताड़ना का सामना करना पड़ता है और उनके पैसे भी बर्बाद हो जाते हैं अगर किसी युवा को जाना है तो वह सही तरीके से जाए। मैं कुछ समय पहले एक गांव में गया था और वहां के लोगों ने बताया था कि 300 लोग विदेश में इस गांव से गए हुए हैं जो सभी डंकी रूट से गए हुए हैं लेकिन अभी सरकार के बदलाव के चलते वहां से वापस आ रहे हैं वह वहां की सरकार का अपना मामला है हम इस पर कुछ भी नहीं कह सकते लेकिन डंकी रूट से जाना सही नहीं है।

एनसीआर में 10 साल पुराने डीजल के वाहनों के ऊपर उन्होंने बोलते कहा कि करनाल में यह बड़ी समस्या है मध्यम वर्ग लोग और गरीब लोग आकर वहां ले लेते हैं तो 10 साल पूरे होने के बाद भी उनके वाहन अच्छे होते हैं लेकिन इस नियम के चलते हैं उनको परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ता है। एनसीआर में विभाग के द्वारा कुछ अलग-अलग नियम लागू करने चाहिए जो दिल्ली से लगाते हुए इलाके हैं उनके लिए नियम अलग होने चाहिए और यहां के लिए अलग होने चाहिए अगर कोई भी वाहन कंपनी किसी गाड़ी को बनती है तो उसकी जितनी लाइफ है इतना ही उसकी रजिस्ट्रेशन नंबर जारी करना चाहिए ताकि किसी को कोई परेशानी ना हो हालांकि इस पर मैं विभाग से बात जरूर करूंगा ताकि यहां के लोगों को राहत मिल सके।

करनाल से यमुनानगर रेलवे लाइन के ऊपर उन्होंने बोलते हुए कहा कि मामला काफी समय से लंबित है और इस बार भी उसके लिए बजट पास नहीं किया गया है उम्मीद की जल्दी इस पर भी संज्ञान दिया जाएगा ताकि लोगों को लाभ मिल सके। घर के बीच में बनने वाले फ्लाईओवर के बारे में उन्होंने कहा कि इसे लोगों को फायदा होगा जो लोग शहर पर करके दूसरे स्थान पर जाते हैं उनको कम समय लगेगा।  फ्लाईओवर के नीचे मार्केट में भीड़  भी कम होगी।

हरियाणा विधानसभा चुनावों में वोटर्स को साधने के लिए शीर्ष नेतृत्व भी मैदान में उतर आया है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के बाद अब बहुजन समाज पार्टी की राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष मायावती हरियाणा में एंट्री हो रही है। 30 सितंबर को मायावती असंध विधानसभा में रैली को संबोधित करेंगी और बीएसपी-इनेलो के सांझे उम्मीदवारों के लिए वोट की अपील करेंगी।

इसके अतिरिक्त मायावती 3 अन्य कार्यक्रम भी करेंगी। जिसमें 25 सितंबर को जींद के उचाना कलां, 27 को फरीदाबाद के पृथला और 1 अक्तूबर को यमुनानगर के छछरौली में लोगों के समक्ष अपनी बात रखेंगी।

असंध विधानसभा में बीएसपी-इनेलो से गोपाल राणा पुत्र नरेंद्र राणा को मैदान में उतारा हुआ है। गोपाल राणा पहली बार इलैक्शन लड़ रहे है और इनके पिता नरेंद्र राणा ने 2019 का विधानसभा चुनाव लड़ा था और दूसरे स्थान पर रहे थे। महज 1703 वोटों से ही हारे थे। जबकि बीजेपी यहां पर तीसरे स्थान पर रही थी। अब मैदान में भाजपा से योगिंद्र राणा, कांग्रेस से निवर्तमान विधायक शमशेर गोगी और बीएसपी-इनेलो से गोपाल राणा है।

यहां पर शमशेर सिंह और गोपाल राणा के बीच मुकाबला माना जा रहा है, हालांकि गोपाल राणा पहली बार चुनावी मैदान में है, जबकि इनके पिता कई सालों से राजनीति में रहे है और अच्छी पहचान रखते है। ऐसे में गोपाल राणा को पब्लिक कितना पसंद करती है, वह तो इलैक्शन का रिजल्ट ही बताएगा।

परिसीमन के बाद 1977 में असंध विधानसभा पर चुनाव हुए। पहला विधायक जनता पार्टी की टिकट पर जोगी राम बना। 1982 और 1987 में लोकदल के मनफूल को विधायक चुना गया। इसके बाद कृष्ण लाल ने यहां से 1991 में जनता पार्टी, 1996 में समता पार्टी और 2000 में इनेलो की टिकट पर इलैक्शन लड़ा और विधायक की हैट्रिक लगाई। 2005 के चुनाव में कांग्रेस की झोली में यह सीट चली गई। राजरानी विधायक बनी, जो इस विधानसभा की इकलौती महिला विधायक रही है।

2014 में हजकां से जिलेराम चोचड़ा को विधायक बनाया गया। 2014 में बीजेपी ने अपना पहला विधायक बख्शीश सिंह को असंध विधानसभा सीट पर बनाया और 2019 में कांग्रेस ने दूसरा चुनाव जीता और शमशेर गोगी यहां पर कांग्रेस के पहले विधायक बने। ऐसे में देखने वाली बात यह है कि क्या यहां पर कौन सी पार्टी बाजी मारती है और मायावती का असंध में आगमन कितना फायदा उसके प्रत्याशी को दे पाता है।

हरियाणा के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और केंद्रीय मंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर को विधानसभा चुनाव में चुनौती देने के लिए कांग्रेस ने कमर कस ली है। जीटी रोड बेल्ट को लुभाने के लिए दीपेंद्र हुड्डा आज हरियाणा मांगे हिसाब अभियान की शुरुआत करने जा रहे हैं। हालांकि इस अभियान में रणदीप सुरजेवाला और कुमारी शैलजा गुट का कोई नेता नजर नहीं आएगा। क्योंकि असंध विधानसभा से विधायक शमशेर सिंह गोगी को कांग्रेस के हरियाणा मांगे हिसाब अभियान का निमंत्रण नहीं मिला।

आज दीपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा करनाल पहुंच रहे हैं और सरकार के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन करने जा रहे हैं। ऐसे में शमशेर सिंह गोगी असंध से इकलौते कांग्रेस विधायक हैं, जो एसआर गुट से ताल्लुक रखते हैं, लेकिन आज का कार्यक्रम दीपेंद्र हुड्डा के नेतृत्व में हो रहा है। कहीं न कहीं इस कार्यक्रम में गोगी को न बुलाना कांग्रेस में अंदरूनी कलह को दर्शाता है, हालांकि गोगी ने यह भी कहा है कि कांग्रेस में कोई कलह नहीं है।

दीपेंद्र हुड्डा करनाल में कार्यक्रम कर रहे हैं और मैं अपने विधानसभा क्षेत्र में काम करने जा रहा हूं। जब उनसे पूछा गया कि क्या उन्हें कार्यक्रम के लिए बुलाया गया है तो उन्होंने दो टूक जवाब दिया कि उन्हें नहीं बुलाया गया है।

इस बीच विधायक शमशेर सिंह गोगी ने स्मार्ट सिटी में बारिश से सड़कों पर पानी भरने पर कटाक्ष किया है। गोगी ने कहा कि यह स्मार्ट सिटी है और स्मार्ट सिटी के अंदर ही झील बना दी गई है। इसके अंदर नाव में मौज करो। यह खट्टर साहब की देन है, जिसके लिए मैंने विधानसभा में 737 करोड़ रुपये की जांच का मुद्दा उठाया था।

असंध को जिला बनाने के सवाल पर गोगी ने कहा कि असंध को जिला बनाना बहुत जरूरी है। यह जींद, कैथल, पानीपत और करनाल जिलों से 45 किलोमीटर दूर है। उन्होंने मनोहर लाल खट्टर पर कटाक्ष करते हुए कहा कि खट्टर साहब ने असंध में टोल प्लाजा लगाकर इसे जिला बना दिया।

लोकसभा चुनाव की वोटिंग खत्म होते ही हरियाणा में टोल रेट बढ़ा दिए गए हैं। 2 जून की रात 12 बजे से टोल प्लाजा के रेट में 5% तक की बढ़ोतरी की गई है। अमूमन यह रेट 1 अप्रैल से लागू किए जाते हैं लेकिन इस बार लोकसभा चुनाव की वजह से इन्हें टाल दिया गया।

हरियाणा में विभिन्न हाईवे, एक्सप्रेस-वे, KMP, नारनौल-चंडीगढ़ एक्सप्रेस-वे, खेड़की दौला टोल प्लाजा, दिल्ली-पटियाला राजमार्ग पर खटकड़ टोल प्लाजा, जींद-गोहाना-सोनीपत राजमार्ग पर लूदाना टोल प्लाजा, गुड़गांव-सोहना राजमार्ग पर घामड़ोज टोल प्लाजा, दिल्ली-मुंबई एक्सप्रेस-वे पर हिलालपुर टोल प्लाजा, हिसार-चंडीगढ़ राजमार्ग-152 सहित सभी हाईवे पर टोल दरों में 5 प्रतिशत बढ़ोतरी की गई है।

वहीं पंजाब में लाडोवाल टोल प्लाजा में 5% टोल रेट बढ़ा दिए गए हैं। नेशनल हाईवे अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया ने एक साल में तीसरी बार दरों में बढ़ोतरी की है।

हरियाणा में इस बार भीषण गर्मी पड़ रही है। यह पहली बार जब हरियाणा में 18 दिन से लगातार लू चल रही है। मौसम वैज्ञानिकों के अनुसार, मई 2002 के बाद ऐसी स्थिति आई है, जब मई में लगातार 18 दिन लू चली हैं। प्रदेश में लू के थपेड़ों ने आमजन को बेहाल कर दिया है।

13 मई से लगातार दिन का पारा 40 डिग्री के पार है। कई जगह तो यह 45 डिग्री के पार चल रहा है। सिरसा में पारा पिछले दिनों 50.3 डिग्री तक जा चुका है। बीते गुरुवार को भी देशभर में सबसे ज्यादा 49.1 डिग्री पारा सिरसा का रहा।

सिरसा में लगातार 5 दिन से तापमान 47 डिग्री से ऊपर बना हुआ है। आज नौतपा के सातवें दिन भी ऐसे ही हालात रहेंगे। संभावना है कि रात से एक पश्चिमी विक्षोभ एक्टिव होने से कल से सूबे में बारिश के आसार बन सकते हैं।

हरियाणा कृषि विश्वविद्यालय के मौसम विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ. मदन खीचड़ का कहना है कि 1 से 3 जून तक प्रदेश के कुछ हिस्सों में हल्की बारिश हो सकती है। 1 जून को पंचकूला, अंबाला, यमुनानगर, कुरुक्षेत्र, करनाल और पानीपत में बारिश हो सकती है।

जबकि, अन्य जिलों के भी कुछ स्थानों पर बारिश हो सकती है। 2 और 3 जून को भी कुछ जगह बारिश की संभावना है। इस बीच गर्मी के कारण बिजली की डिमांड भी बढ़ गई है।

राजस्व एवं आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग की ओर से लू से बचाव को एडवाइजरी जारी की गई है। लू से बचाव के लिए हल्के रंग के ढीले सूती कपड़े पहनें, सिर ढंक कर रखें, कपड़े, हैट या छतरी का उपयोग करें, पर्याप्त मात्रा में पानी पीएं-भले ही प्यास न लगी हो, ORS (ओरल रीहाइड्रेशन सॉल्यूशन) व घर में बने पेय जैसे लस्सी, तोरानी (चावल का मांड), नींबू पानी, छाछ आदि का सेवन करें।

बच्चों को वाहनों में छोड़कर न जाएं, उन्हें लू लगने का खतरा हो सकता है। नंगे पांव बाहर न जाएं, गर्मी से राहत के लिए हाथ का पंखा अपने पास रखें, काम के बीच में थोड़ा-थोड़ा विश्राम लें, खेत खलिहान में काम कर रहे हैं तो समय-समय पर पेड़ या छाया में आसरा लें।

दोपहर 12 से 4 बाहर जाने से बचें
एडवाइजरी के अनुसार, गर्मी के मौसम में जंक फूड का सेवन न करें। ताजा फल, सलाद और घर में बना खाना खाएं। खास तौर से दोपहर 12 बजे से सायं 4 बजे के बीच धूप में सीधे न जाएं। यदि बच्चे को चक्कर आएं, उल्टी घबराहट या तेज सिरदर्द हो, सीने में दर्द हो या सांस लेने में कठिनाई हो तो चिकित्सक से अवश्य संपर्क करें।

बढ़ती गर्मी में वृद्ध एवं कमजोर व्यक्तियों की खास देखभाल करें। तेज गर्मी, खास तौर से जब वे अकेले हों तो कम से कम दिन में 2 बार उनकी जांच करें। ध्यान रहे कि उनके पास फोन हो, यदि वे गर्मी से बेचैनी महसूस कर रहे हों तो उन्हें ठंडक देने का प्रयास करें, उनके शरीर को गीला रखें, उन्हें नहलाएं या उनकी गर्दन तथा बगलों में गीला तौलिया रखें। उनके पास हमेशा पानी की बोतल जरूर रखें।

हरियाणा की 10 लोकसभा सीटों पर सुबह 7 बजे से वोटिंग जारी है। सुबह 11 बजे तक 22.09% मतदान हुआ। वोटिंग शाम 6 बजे तक चलेगी। जितने भी वोटर शाम 6 बजे तक लाइन में लगे होंगे, सबको मतदान का मौका मिलेगा।

भाजपा, कांग्रेस, इनेलो और जेजेपी के उम्मीदवारों समेत नेता वोट डालने पहुंच रहे हैं। CM नायब सैनी ने अंबाला, पूर्व CM एवं उम्मीदवार मनोहर लाल खट्टर ने करनाल, कुलदीप बिश्नोई ने परिवार के साथ हिसार, पूर्व डिप्टी CM दुष्यंत चौटाला और उनके परिवार ने सिरसा और केंद्रीय मंत्री एवं उम्मीदवार कृष्णपाल गुर्जर ने फरीदाबाद में वोट डाला।

वोटिंग के लिए कई उम्मीदवारों को लाइन में लगना पड़ा। अंबाला से बीजेपी कैंडिडेट बंतो कटारिया भी लाइन में लगीं। इसी बीच मतदान केंद्र में बिजली गुल हो गई। इस कारण बंतो कटारिया को वोट डालने के लिए आधा घंटा तक इंतजार करना पड़ा।

वहीं कुरुक्षेत्र में बुजुर्ग महिला ने बूथ एजेंट पर जबरदस्ती कमल का बटन दबाने का आरोप लगाया। इसके साथ रोहतक के मोहल्ला महाजन पड़ाव के लोगों ने बिजली की समस्या को लेकर रेलवे रोड पर जाम लगा दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि जब तक उनकी समस्या का समाधान नहीं होता तब तक वो वोट भी नहीं डालेंगे।

शहरी क्षेत्रों में 5,470 तथा ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में 14,342 मतदान केंद्र बनाए गए हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि 176 आदर्श मतदान केंद्र स्थापित किए गए हैं। 99 मतदान केंद्र ऐसे हैं जो पूरी तरह से महिला कर्मचारियों द्वारा संचालित किए जाएंगे।

इसके अलावा हरियाणा में 96 मतदान केंद्र यूथ कर्मचारी तथा 71 मतदान केंद्र दिव्यांग कर्मचारी ड्यूटी पर तैनात किए गए हैं।

हरियाणा समेत पंजाब, चंडीगढ़ और हिमाचल में गर्मी खूब तेवर दिखा रही है। गर्मी से आमजन बेहाल है। हरियाणा के 10 जिलों में भीषण गर्मी पड़ रही है। मौसम विभाग ने 40 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से लू चलने का अलर्ट जारी किया है।

इसको देखते हुए 26 मई तक महेंद्रगढ़, रेवाड़ी, मेवात, पलवल, सिरसा, फतेहाबाद, हिसार, जींद, भिवानी, चरखी दादरी में रेड अलर्ट जारी कर रखा गया है।

वहीं मौसम विभाग ने पंजाब के 10 जिलों में रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है। यहां तापमान 45 डिग्री के पार होने के आसार हैं। अमृतसर, तरनतारन, फिरोजपुर, फाजिल्का, फरीदकोट, मुक्तसर, मोगा और बठिंडा के अलावा बरनाला, मानसा में रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है।

चंडीगढ़ में भी गर्मी से अभी लोगों को राहत नहीं मिलने वाली है। दिन के साथ ही अब रात का तापमान भी चढ़ने लगा है। मौसम विभाग ने 27 मई तक हीट वेव का रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है।

हिमाचल प्रदेश के 8 जिलों में आज हीट वेव चलने का येलो अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। इनमें ऊना, बिलासपुर, कांगड़ा, हमीरपुर, मंडी, कुल्लू, सोलन व सिरमौर शामिल हैं। पहाड़ों पर 6 दिन से हीट वेव चल रही है।

मौसम विभाग के अनुसार, हरियाणा में फिलहाल के दिन का अधिकतम तापमान सामान्य से 1.7 डिग्री, और रात का 4.9 डिग्री पारा ज्यादा चल रहा है। इधर, डॉक्टरों का कहना है कि इस मौसम में डिहाइड्रेशन का खतरा बढ़ जाता है। हरियाणा के हांसी में बीत कल (22 मई) डिहाइड्रेशन से एक 70 वर्षीय बुजुर्ग की मौत का मामला भी सामने आया है।

गर्मी के रेड अलर्ट के बीच 25 मई से नौतपा भी शुरू हो रहा है। नौतपा के दौरान लगातार 9 दिन भीषण गर्मी पड़ती है। नौतपा तब होता है जब सूर्य रोहिणी नक्षत्र में प्रवेश करता है। यह हर साल आता है और इस दौरान 9 दिनों तक सूर्य देव उग्र रूप में रहते हैं।
