JERUSALEM – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has officially disclosed that he recently underwent successful treatment for a malignant prostate tumor. The announcement came as part of his annual medical report, released on Friday, April 24, 2026.

• Diagnosis: Doctors discovered a "tiny spot" (less than 1 cm) during a routine medical checkup. Tests confirmed it was a very early-stage malignant tumor with no signs of spreading or metastasis.

• Treatment: The Prime Minister opted for targeted radiation therapy rather than active monitoring. His medical team at Hadassah Hospital confirmed the treatment was successful and the "spot has disappeared completely."
