Three district courts and two schools in Delhi received bomb threats on Tuesday. Following the receipt of a bomb threat email at Saket Court, Patiala House Court, and Dwarka Court, the Delhi Police evacuated all the courts and launched an investigation.

 

Reports claim that the threat email was sent from an email address associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed. Following this, bomb squads are conducting investigations at all three court campuses.

 

It is noteworthy that the NIA is scheduled to present Jasir Bilal Wani, an accused in the Delhi Red Fort car bombing case, at Patiala House Court today. This email was sent just before 11 a.m.

 

Earlier, two CRPF schools also received bomb threats this morning. An unknown person called the police and claimed that explosives had been planted on the campus.

 

After receiving the calls at around 9 a.m., teams arrived at both locations and the schools were evacuated as a precaution.

 

 

The NIA is scheduled to present accused Jaseer Bilal alias Danish at Patiala House Court on Tuesday. A Rapid Action Force (RAF) was deployed there beforehand. The accused is said to be a friend of Dr. Umar, the terrorist killed in the attack.

 

Court proceedings to resume after lunch

 

Dhir Singh Kasana, former secretary of the Saket Court Bar Association, said court proceedings were adjourned for about two hours and would resume after lunch. Navneet Panwar, vice president of the New Delhi Bar Association at Patiala House Courts, confirmed that court proceedings are continuing, with only a brief pause.

 

 

Delhi Police reported that the caller's phone was switched off after the threat to schools, and efforts are underway to trace him. However, a fire brigade official said, "We conducted a search at the schools. Nothing suspicious was found there. The threat has been declared a hoax."
