Speaking to the media during an event in Ludhiana, Bittu said that Priyanka Gandhi and the Congress Party wanted to spoil the atmosphere by having him beaten up during the farmers' protest.

Bittu said that he would file a complaint with the Delhi Police against Priyanka Gandhi, the Congress Party, and Yogendra Yadav. Bittu said that during the farmers' protest six years ago, Priyanka Gandhi forcibly sent him to Yogendra Yadav. When he reached Yogendra Yadav, more than 500 Khalistani supporters were present there.

Bittu said that as soon as he arrived, Yogendra Yadav left the scene and Khalistani supporters tried to attack him. Everyone saw the damage to Congress leader Kulbir Singh Zira's car during that time.

Bittu said that Priyanka Gandhi and the Congress wanted to spoil the atmosphere by having him attacked. Yogendra Yadav was also with them in this. Therefore, he will now file a police complaint and demand an investigation into the role of Priyanka Gandhi, the Congress Party, and Yogendra Yadav.

Bittu said these things while accusing Priyanka Gandhi and Yogendra Yadav…

Aujla and I were on a protest against the agricultural laws: Ravneet Singh Bittu said that the Congress Party had asked him to protest the agricultural laws. Therefore, he and Aujla, the MP from Amritsar, sat on a road protest in Delhi for a year.

Priyanka Gandhi called and asked to meet Yogendra Yadav: Ravneet Singh Bittu said that while he was on the protest, Priyanka Gandhi repeatedly called him and asked him to meet Yogendra Yadav at the farmers' protest, saying he was waiting for him. He refused to meet him.

Mukul Wasnik forcibly took him away: Bittu said that when he refused to go, Priyanka Gandhi sent party leader Mukul Wasnik. He forcibly put him in a car and took him to Yogendra Yadav. He left us there and went back.

Yogendra Yadav was addressing 500 Khalistan supporters: Bittu said that the farmers had forbidden political parties from coming within a 5-kilometer radius. Amidst all this, he was sent there. When he arrived, Yogendra Yadav was addressing around 500 Khalistan supporters in the hall. As soon as he arrived, Yogendra Yadav slipped away.

Khalistan supporters attempted to attack: Ravneet Singh Bittu said that he was alone among the Khalistan supporters. Khalistan supporters tried to attack him. The situation escalated to such an extent that they damaged Kulbir Jeera's car.

There was a plan to spoil the atmosphere by killing the MP: Bittu, accusing Priyanka Gandhi, said that Priyanka Gandhi and the Congress party had planned to spoil the atmosphere in the farmers' protest by killing the MP, meaning him. It was due to the grace of my mother and Waheguru that I survived.

Mukul Wasnik apologized after he escaped: Bittu said that when he returned from the farmers' protest area, Mukul Wasnik came to him and said, "I had no idea what was going to happen there."

Raja Warring said, "Bittu's statement is a childish act." Congress President and Ludhiana MP Amarinder Singh Raja Warring wrote on his X handle that Bittu's statement is extremely childish. He said that an attempt is being made to drag Priyanka Gandhi into an incident that occurred six years ago. He questioned the extent to which Bittu is being forced to do anything to remain in the good books of his masters. He said that Bittu should refrain from making such statements.

He said the government is panicking and that Narendra Modi is under tremendous pressure. He called it a "side show," adding that both he and the Prime Minister know this.

During the budget session of Parliament, the opposition is demanding a discussion on the US-India trade deal. The opposition claims that the deal includes an agreement to impose a 0% tariff on US agricultural products, which they call a betrayal of the country's farmers.

On Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi also tried to speak in the Lok Sabha about an article from former Army Chief Naravane's unpublished book, but the House erupted in uproar, leading to the adjournment of proceedings.

The US has reduced the 50% tariff it had imposed on India to 18%. Trump claimed that Modi had agreed to stop buying oil from Russia and instead buy more oil from the US.

Jairam Ramesh said, "Mogambo is happy in Washington."

The Congress criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the announcement of the trade deal between the US and India. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Mogambo is happy in Washington. It seems PM Modi has finally given in."

He wrote that India is getting information about its own government's actions from Trump or his appointed representatives. This is becoming a routine, he added. The Congress's X post stated that, like the ceasefire (Operation Sindoor), the trade deal was also announced by Trump. It was stated that the trade deal is being done at "Modi's request."

The Congress wrote that it was also stated that Modi would not buy oil from Russia, but would buy oil from the US and Venezuela. Has the Modi government agreed to abandon Russia in the trade deal? The statement also mentioned buying more goods from the US; if so, what happened to 'Make in India'?

Earlier, on Monday, Trump announced the trade deal between India and the US. He said that the US had reduced the 50% tariff it had imposed on India to 18%. Trump also said that India will now stop buying oil from Russia.

Read both of Jairam Ramesh's posts…

Today (February 2), a conversation took place between Prime Minister Modi and US President Trump. This information was not given by the Indian side, but by the US Ambassador to India. This is now becoming a routine. India gets information about its own government's actions from President Trump or his appointed representatives.
Prime Minister Modi appears clearly under pressure in front of President Trump for some reason. Forget the usual hugs and embraces, Modi now seems uncomfortable even being seen with Trump. It seems he has given up. This certainly cannot be the Father of All Deals.
Trump said - India will buy goods worth $500 billion from us

Trump shared information about his phone conversation with PM Modi and the trade deal with India through a post on social media 'Truth Social'. He wrote - It was an honor to speak with Prime Minister Modi of India.

We discussed many issues, including trade and ending the Russia-Ukraine war. Prime Minister Modi agreed that India will stop buying oil from Russia and will buy much more oil from the United States. The possibility of buying oil from Venezuela was also discussed.

Prime Minister Modi has also made a major commitment to ‘Buy American’. Under this, India will buy energy, technology, agriculture, coal, and other products worth more than $500 billion from us. I am confident that the relationship between India and the United States will become even stronger.

Rahul, citing an unpublished book by former Army Chief General Naravane, said that four Chinese tanks had entered Indian territory in Doklam.

As soon as Rahul made this statement, he was interrupted first by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and then by Home Minister Amit Shah. The Speaker then stopped him, citing parliamentary rules.

Rahul continued trying to speak for about 46 minutes. Following this, the Speaker adjourned the Lok Sabha proceedings until 3 PM.

When the Lok Sabha proceedings resumed at 3 PM, Rahul began speaking again. However, due to the uproar, the proceedings were adjourned again after just 9 minutes, until 4 PM. At 4 PM, the proceedings resumed, but the uproar continued, and after 11 minutes, the proceedings were adjourned until 11 AM on Tuesday.

Naravane's autobiography 'Four Stars of Destiny' is unpublished
The book on which Rahul Gandhi is basing his claim of Chinese tanks entering Doklam is written by former Army Chief General MM Naravane. This book, titled 'Four Stars of Destiny', has not yet been published. Its hardcover is available on online shopping sites since April 2024. The book reviews the Indian Army's clashes with China in 2020, as well as the Agnipath scheme.

Naravane, who served as Army Chief from 2019 to 2022, had told the Indian Express in an interview that he had given his book to Penguin Publishers Group for publication. He said it was now a matter between the publishing group and the government. The book has been sent to the Ministry of Defence for approval. More than a year has passed, but approval for its publication has not yet been granted. Rahul Gandhi said, "What happened to the 56-inch chest when China was confronting us?"
Rahul told the media, "I wanted to speak in the House on the issue of security. What did the former Army Chief tell Rajnath Singh? I don't know why the government is scared. I wanted to mention what the former Army Chief said. General Naravane has written about the PM and Rajnath in an article. I am saying that, but I am not being allowed to speak. China was confronting us. What happened to the 56-inch chest then?"

Jagdambika Pal told Rahul, "If you want to speak, speak on the President's address."
Presiding officer Jagdambika Pal said, "The Leader of the Opposition is requested that other leaders also have to speak. Now, please give your speech on the President's address."
Pal advised Gaurav Gogoi not to speak while sitting. "You are aware of the House proceedings."
Rahul said, "You have given me permission to speak. It is a very important issue related to national security. Sir, I don't understand why the PM and the Home Minister have left the House on this issue."
Presiding Officer: "If you want to speak, speak on the President's address. Why are you speaking on something that hasn't been published? There are no facts. There is no evidence."

Rijiju: "Look, just now Rahul Gandhi said that the Home Minister has left. How can you use a word like 'running away'? This is very wrong. We are sitting here to listen to you."
Rahul: "Is 'running away' an unparliamentary word?"
Jagdambika: "You are the Leader of the Opposition, and you are not listening to the Chair. I am allowing you to speak, don't you have any respect for the Chair? Who will give you permission to speak like this? Rahul ji, you will speak, otherwise I will call Akhilesh Yadav to speak."
Jagdambika reprimanded Venugopal for speaking while sitting.

The House proceedings resumed.
Jagdambika Pal took the Chair in place of Speaker Om Birla. Upon his arrival, the opposition created a ruckus. To this, Jagdambika Pal said, "My arrival has made the atmosphere here pleasant."

Following the uproar, the Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned until 4 PM.
Speaker Om Birla said, "You should speak in the House on matters that are in the national interest."

Kiren Rijiju said, "You are repeatedly saying things that are not authentic. You are belittling the army."

After the uproar, the House proceedings were adjourned until 4 PM. The proceedings lasted only 9 minutes.

Kiren Rijiju said, "Rahul is belittling the country."
Kiren Rijiju asked, "What will you gain by belittling the country? We may have our differences of opinion. But you are saying things that have no source. Who told you where the Chinese tanks are located? Don't say things that will demoralize our army. The PM was also present. We are also sitting here. But you should speak according to the rules."
Rahul Gandhi said, "This matter started in 2020. Four tanks in India..." After this, the uproar started again.
Speaker Birla said, "Speak according to the rules. I have already given my ruling. This will not work."

He termed the Voter Rights Yatra as the "Save Infiltrators Yatra." Addressing party workers in Rohtas, Bihar, he accused the Congress party of ignoring development issues and protecting illegal immigrants from Bangladesh.

Congress spreads fake narratives: Amit Shah

Home Minister Amit Shah said, "Congress spreads fake narratives every time. Rahul Gandhi undertook a yatra... The topic of his yatra wasn't vote theft. His focus wasn't on good education, employment, electricity, or roads, but rather on protecting illegal immigrants from Bangladesh. This was Rahul Gandhi's "Save Infiltrators Yatra."

Questioning the Congress party's yatra, Home Minister Amit Shah asked, "Should infiltrators have the right to vote or free rations? Should infiltrators get jobs, housing, and medical treatment up to ₹5 lakh? Instead of our youth, Rahul Gandhi's vote bank is giving jobs to infiltrators."

'The purpose of the Congress yatra was to protect infiltrators'

Referring to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's Voter Rights Yatra, Amit Shah said, "You (BJP workers) know what its purpose was? Its purpose was to protect infiltrators from Bangladesh. You should go across the state, visit every home, and tell people that if they (the opposition alliance) come to power, every district in Bihar will be filled with infiltrators."

The Union Home Minister said, "Congress leaders had used a similar strategy in the past when they alleged that we wanted to end reservations for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, but nothing like that happened."
