Today is the fourth day of the Parliament's winter session. Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, criticized the central government regarding Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to India.

He said, "The central government doesn't want me to meet people coming from abroad. Modi ji and the Ministry of External Affairs don't follow this rule. This is their insecurity."

Rahul added, "We all have relationships with other countries. The Leader of the Opposition offers a different perspective. We also represent India; it's not just the government that does."

"It's usually the tradition that whoever comes from abroad meets the Leader of the Opposition. This happened during the governments of Vajpayee ji and Manmohan Singh ji. It has been a tradition, but nowadays, when foreign guests come or when I go abroad, the central government advises them not to meet the Leader of the Opposition. This is their policy, and they always do this."

Meanwhile, Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov arrived at Parliament on Thursday morning.
Congress MP Manish Tewari said, "I have given a notice for suspension of business today demanding a discussion on Delhi's air pollution. People are facing a lot of problems. Children are having difficulty breathing. This is a huge health crisis."

Regarding the rupee's exchange rate against the dollar, he said, "It's very strange that when the rupee was below 60, they used to talk about the times of Dr. Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi, but now the rupee has reached 90. Now, which era are they comparing it to?"

He said that the final status of the bill will only be clear after it has gone through all the necessary procedures.

Pollution in Delhi-NCR is steadily increasing. On Thursday, Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) was 506, which falls in the hazardous category. In a live ranking by IQ Air, an international organization that measures air pollution worldwide, Delhi was ranked as the most polluted city in the world.

Due to increasing air pollution, the Delhi government has banned sports events in all schools in November and December. Earlier, on October 18, the Supreme Court had ordered against sports functions in Delhi schools due to pollution in Delhi-NCR.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh has been experiencing severe cold for the past 15 days. In the last 24 hours, temperatures dropped below 10 degrees in 12 cities, including Bhopal and Indore. Rajgarh recorded the lowest temperature of 7.5 degrees. Dense fog enveloped Jabalpur. A cold wave alert is in effect for Indore, Bhopal, Rajgarh, Shajapur, and Sehore on Friday.

Temperatures in Badrinath, Uttarakhand, are below minus 6°C. Fog is spreading across the plains in the morning. According to meteorologists, the weather will remain the same in the state for the next few days. Further snowfall is expected.

दिल्ली के निवासियों को अपने सबसे बुरे डर का सामना करना पड़ रहा है, क्योंकि AQI उनकी कल्पना से भी बदतर है.aqi.in के अनुसार, 18 नवंबर को दोपहर 12:30 बजे तक राष्ट्रीय राजधानी का वायु गुणवत्ता सूचकांक (AQI) 978 था. यह प्रति दिन यानी 24 घंटे में 49.02 सिगरेट पीने के बराबर है.

सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में प्रदूषण के स्तर में खतरनाक वृद्धि के बावजूद ग्रेडेड रिस्पांस एक्शन प्लान (जीआरएपी) के चरण 4 को लागू करने में देरी के लिए आप के नेतृत्व वाली राज्य सरकार को भी फटकार लगाई. न्यायमूर्ति अभय एस ओका और ऑगस्टीन जॉर्ज मसीह की सर्वोच्च न्यायालय की पीठ ने कहा कि वह जीआरएपी के चरण 4 के तहत निवारक उपायों में किसी भी तरह की कमी की अनुमति नहीं देगी. भले ही एक्यूआई 450 से नीचे चला जाए.

हरियाणा की एयर क्वालिटी ऐसी है

हरियाणा में AQI 631 दर्ज किया गया, जिसका मतलब है कि प्रतिदिन 33.25 सिगरेट पी जाती हैं. राज्य की वायु गुणवत्ता पराली जलाने और वाहनों से होने वाले प्रदूषण का काफी असर पड़ता है. 18 नवंबर को हरियाणा में तापमान न्यूनतम 16.55 डिग्री सेल्सियस और अधिकतम 27.56 डिग्री सेल्सियस के बीच रहने की उम्मीद है.

घर या बाहर पॉल्यूशन के दौरान इन बातों का रखें ख्याल

N95 और N99 मास्क अधिकांश पार्टिकुलेट मैटर (PM 2.5 और PM 10) को फ़िल्टर करने के लिए डिज़ाइन किए गए हैं. जो उन्हें प्रदूषण के खिलाफ़ एक बेहतरीन अवरोधक बनाते हैं. बाहर निकलते समय मास्क पहनना सुनिश्चित करें. खासकर उन क्षेत्रों में जहां हवा की गुणवत्ता खराब है.

घर के अंदर एयर प्यूरीफायर का इस्तेमाल करें: घर के अंदर की हवा भी बाहरी प्रदूषण से प्रभावित हो सकती है. अपने घर के लिए एक अच्छे एयर प्यूरीफायर में निवेश करने से घर के अंदर की हवा की गुणवत्ता में काफी सुधार हो सकता है. HEPA फ़िल्टर वाले प्यूरीफायर देखें जो छोटे कणों को फँसा सकते हैं. यह सुनिश्चित करते हुए कि आपके घर के अंदर की हवा साफ और सांस लेने के लिए सुरक्षित है.

हाइड्रेटेड रहें: बहुत सारा पानी पीने से आपके शरीर से विषाक्त पदार्थ बाहर निकल जाते हैं और आपकी श्वसन प्रणाली ठीक से काम करती है. हाइड्रेटेड रहने से आपके गले और नाक के मार्ग नम रहते हैं. जिससे वे हानिकारक कणों को बेहतर तरीके से फ़िल्टर कर पाते हैं, जिससे आपके शरीर पर प्रदूषकों का प्रभाव भी कम हो सकता है.

इम्युनिटी को मजबूत रखें: इम्युनिटी को मजबूत रखने के लिए आप डाइट में अदरक, हल्दी, शहद और खट्टे फल को शामिल करें. यह सभी में फूड आइटम में एंटीऑक्सीडेंट से भरपूर होते हैं. जो आपके शरीर को प्रदूषकों के कारण होने वाले ऑक्सीडेटिव तनाव से बचाने में मदद कर सकते हैं.

दिल्ली में सर्दियों के मौसम में वायु गुणवत्ता का स्तर ज्यादा गिर जाता है। इसकी वजह से लोगों को सांस लेने में भी परेशानी होती है। यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ शिकागो के एनर्जी पालिसी इंस्टीट्यूट की वार्षिक रिपोर्ट वायु गुणवत्ता जीवन सूचकांक 2024 के अनुसार, दिल्ली की वायु गुणवत्ता इसके निवासियों की जीवन प्रत्याशा को कम कर रहा है। इससे दिल्ली उत्तरी मैदानी इलाकों में सबसे प्रदूषित क्षेत्रों में शामिल हो गई है। भारत के अपने राष्ट्रीय मानकों के अनुसार, अगर वर्तमान प्रदूषण स्तर जारी रहता है तो निवासियों की जीवन प्रत्याशा (Life Expectancy) 8.5 साल कम हो जाएगी।

दिल्ली में वायु गुणवत्ता का गिरना एक बड़ा मुद्दा है। अब इसी की वजह से दिल्ली के लोगों के जीवन पर खतरा मंडरा रहा है। दिल्ली में रहने वाले 1.80 करोड़ लोग WHO द्वारा निर्धारित मानदंड की तुलना में औसतन जीवन प्रत्याशा कम हो सकती है। भारत के अपने राष्ट्रीय मानकों के अनुसार, शहर का प्रदूषण ऐसा ही रहता है तो लोगों की जीवन प्रत्याशा 8.5 वर्ष कम हो जाएगी। साफ तौर पर कहें तो आपकी उम्र लगभग 8.5 साल तक कम हो जाएगी।

इसके विपरीत रिपोर्ट में यह भी कहा गया कि अगर राष्ट्रीय PM2.5 मानकों को पूरा किया जाए तो उससे दिल्ली वालों की जीवन प्रत्याशा 8.5 वर्ष बढ़ सकती है। PM2.5 एक सूक्ष्म कण है जो सांस लेने से हमारे शरीर में पहुंचकर सांस से जुड़ी समस्याओं को जन्म दे सकता है। इसीलिए प्रदूषण में हमेशा मास्क पहनने की सलाह दी जाती है। रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि भारत की राजधानी दिल्ली है को विश्व स्तर पर सबसे प्रदूषित शहरों में भी शामिल किया गया है।

मौसम विभाग ने कहा कि बुधवार को दिल्ली में अधिकतम तापमान 34 डिग्री सेल्सियस रहा जो इस समय के लिए सामान्य है। भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (IMD) के मुताबिक, शाम साढ़े पांच बजे आर्द्रता का स्तर 85 फीसदी रहा। मौसम विभाग ने गुरुवार के लिए दिल्ली के लिए येलो अलर्ट जारी किया है। 29 अगस्त की सुबह की शुरुआत दिल्ली एनसीआर में बारिश के साथ हुई।
