As a result of this change, the match between Delhi and Andhra Pradesh scheduled for Wednesday will also be played at the new venue. Both Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant are expected to play in this match, but fans will not be able to see them at the stadium.

Entire plan changed due to security reasons

The Karnataka Home Ministry informed the KSCA about security concerns on Tuesday morning. A decision was made immediately, and all the concerned teams were notified. Not only the matches, but both teams' pre-match training sessions will also now be held at the BCCI Centre of Excellence.

Most importantly, no spectators will be allowed entry to any of the Vijay Hazare Trophy matches in Bengaluru. This means fans will not be able to watch Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, and other star players in action at the stadium. This decision has been taken entirely keeping security arrangements in mind.

There was already tremendous excitement surrounding Virat Kohli's return to domestic cricket. He is playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy after almost 15 years. 1983 वर्ल्ड कप फाइनल की तरफ चलते हैं, जहां भारत का मुकाबला वेस्ट इंडीज के साथ होना था. इस मैच में वेस्ट इंडीज के कप्तान और दिग्गज खिलाड़ी क्लाइव लॉयड ने टॉस जीतकर पहले फील्डिंग करने का फैसला किया था. भारतीय टीम जब बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी, तब टीम इंडिया ने 60 ओवर में 184 रन बनाए. भारत के लिए इस मैच में सबसे ज्यादा रन श्रीकांत ने 38, संदीप पाटिल ने 27 और मोहिंदर अमरनाथ ने 26 रन बनाए. कप्तान कपिल देव ने तीन चौकों के साथ 15 रन की पारी खेली.

वेस्ट इंडीज को 185 रनों का लक्ष्य देने का बाद भारतीय गेंदबाजों के आगे चुनौती थी कि वो इस लक्ष्य को डिफेंड करे. लेकिन सामने दुनिया के सबसे महान खिलाड़ियों में से एक विव रिचर्ड्स की टीम थी, जिसके आगे जीत दर्ज करना भारत के लिए एक मुश्किल चुनौती थी. इस मैच में टीम इंडिया तब ही जीत हासिल कर सकती है, जब विपक्षी टीम को लक्ष्य हासिल करने से पहले ऑल आउट कर दे.

भारतीय गेंदबाजों ने 1983 वर्ल्ड कप में वो धाकड़ गेंदबाजी की, जिससे वेस्ट इंडीज की टीम 52 ओवर में ही 140 रनों के स्कोर पर ऑल आउट हो गई. इस मैच में वेस्ट इंडीज के लिए सबसे ज्यादा रन विव रिचर्ड्स ने ही बनाए. इस दिग्गज खिलाड़ी ने 28 गेंदों में 33 रनों की घातक पारी खेली. भारत के लिए सबसे ज्यादा 3-3 विकेट मदन लाल और मोहिंदर अमरनाथ ने लिए. वहीं बलविंदर संधु ने वेस्ट इंडीज के 2 विकेट चटकाए. कपिल देव और रोजर बिन्नी ने भी 1-1 विकेट लिया.

मोहिंदर अमरनाथ ने वेस्ट इंडीज को वर्ल्ड कप जीतने की राह पर खड़ी उनकी आखिरी उम्मीद को पवेलियन भेजा. जैफ डुजोन 25 रन पर और मैलकम मार्शल 18 रन पर बल्लेबाजी कर रहे थे, वहीं मोहिंदर अमरनाथ ने दोनों खिलाड़ियों को आउट कर वापस पवेलियन भेजा और भारत की जीत सुनिश्चित कर दी. गेंद और बल्ले दोनों से कमाल दिखाने के लिए मोहिंदर अमरनाथ को 'प्लेयर ऑफ द मैच' चुना गया.

भारत के 1983 वर्ल्ड कप जीतने के साथ ही हर भारतवासी की आंखों में खुशी के आंसू थे. भारत के फाइनल में पहुंचने की खबर ने ही हर किसी को इस मैच को देखने के लिए टीवी के आगे बैठने पर मजबूर कर दिया. कपिल देव की कप्तानी में भारत ने ये पहला क्रिकेट वर्ल्ड कप जीता था. आज भी उस लम्हे को यादकर लोगों की आंखों में खुशी की चमक दिख जाती है.

भारत और इंग्लैंड के बीच हेडिंग्ले, लीड्स में खेले जा रहे पहले टेस्ट मैच में केएल राहुल और यशस्वी जायसवाल ने इतिहास रच दिया है. दोनों ने पहले विकेट के लिए 91 रनों की साझेदारी की. इंग्लैंड में पहले टेस्ट में भारत के लिए यह सबसे बड़ी ओपनिंग साझेदारी है. 

जायसवाल और राहुल ने 39 साल पुराना रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिया है. इस जोड़ी ने सुनील गावस्कर और के. श्रीकांत का रिकॉर्ड तोड़ा है, जिन्होंने 1986 में इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ 64 रनों की ओपनिंग साझेदारी की थी.

जसप्रीत बुमराह ने आखिरकार भारत की टेस्ट कप्तानी पर अपनी चुप्पी तोड़ी और खुलासा किया कि वह अजीत अगरकर की अगुवाई वाली चयन समिति की पहली पसंद थे, लेकिन उन्होंने कार्यभार के कारण इसे ठुकरा दिया था। रोहित शर्मा के लाल गेंद वाले क्रिकेट से संन्यास लेने के बाद शुभमन गिल को इंग्लैंड दौरे के लिए भारत का टेस्ट कप्तान बनाया गया था, उसके बाद विराट कोहली को भी कप्तान बनाया गया। बुमराह, जो टेस्ट टीम के उप-कप्तान थे और रोहित की अनुपस्थिति में तीन टेस्ट (इंग्लैंड में एक और ऑस्ट्रेलिया में दो) में टीम का नेतृत्व भी किया था, आदर्श रूप से उत्तराधिकारी होने चाहिए थे, लेकिन ऑस्ट्रेलिया में सिडनी टेस्ट में उन्हें लगी पीठ की चोट ने सब कुछ बदल दिया।

साल 2025 में इंडियन प्रीमियम लीग (IPL) के मैचों के बाद अब न्यू चंडीगढ़ यानी मुल्लांपुर स्थित महाराजा यादविंदर सिंह अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट स्टेडियम को इंटरनेशनल मैचों के लिए चुना गया है। इस स्टेडियम में पहली बार इंटरनेशनल मैच खेले जाएंगे। भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (BCCI) ने इसके लिए शेड्यूल जारी कर दिया है।

मुल्लांपुर के स्टेडियम में इस साल सितंबर में भारतीय महिला क्रिकेट टीम ऑस्ट्रेलिया के साथ 2 वनडे इंटरनेशनल (ODI) मैच खेलेगी। इसके बाद दिसंबर में इस मैदान पर भारतीय टीम का आमना-सामना दक्षिण अफ्रीका से एक टी-20 मैच में होगा। बता दें कि यह मैदान IPL टीम पंजाब किंग्स का होम ग्राउंड है।

BCCI के मुताबिक, ऑस्ट्रेलिया और इंडिया विमेंस टीम के बीच सितंबर महीने में होने वाले दोनों ODI मैच चेन्नई के एमए चिदंबरम स्टेडियम में खेले जाने थे, लेकिन वहां आउटफील्ड और पिचों के नवीनीकरण का काम चल रहा है। इस वजह से मैचों को शिफ्ट करने का फैसला लिया गया।

वहीं, इस साल साउथ अफ्रीका की पुरुष टीम भी भारत दौरे पर आ रही है। उसका दौरा 14 नवंबर से 19 दिसंबर तक चलेगा। टीम पांच टी-20 मैच खेलेगी, जिसमें से 11 दिसंबर को होने वाले मैच की मेजबानी मुल्लांपुर स्टेडियम को दी गई है। जबकि, 14 दिसंबर को होने वाला टी-20 मैच मैच हिमाचल प्रदेश क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन स्टेडियम, धर्मशाला में होगा।
