कुश्ती महासंघ ने हाल ही में इन दोनों टूर्नामेंट के लिए हुए चयन ट्रायल के विजेताओं की एंट्री भेज दी है। इनमें 50 भार वर्ग में विनेश फोगाट का नाम भी शामिल है। आईओए के कहने पर महासंघ एथलीट कमीशन का चुनाव फेडरेशन कप के दौरान छत्तीसगढ़ में 24-25 अप्रैल को कराने जा रहा है। प्रत्येक राज्य संघ से दो एथलीट सात पदों के लिए नामांकन भरेंगे। सात पदों में दो महिलाओं का होना अनिवार्य है।

वैष्णवी त्रिपाठी ने 5 वर्ष पूर्व बड़ी बहन गीतांजलि को देखकर आत्मसुरक्षा के लिए मार्शल आट्र्स वूशु को अपनाया था, लेकिन जिस खेल को सतना की इस खिलाड़ी ने अपनी सुरक्षा के लिए चुना उसी में उन्होंने देश के लिए स्वर्ण जीता। वैष्णवी ने अपने पहले ही अंतरराष्ट्रीय टूर्नामेंट मास्को स्टार वूशु के 48 भार वर्ग में सोना जीता। चीन समेत 12 देशों की मौजूदगी में भारत ने इस प्रतिष्ठित टूर्नामेंट में कुल 16 स्वर्ण पदक जीते। वैष्णवी ने सांडा वर्ग में स्वर्ण जीता। उन्होंने अंत में लिखा आपकी मर्जी बिटिया को बधाई दो या ना दो हम तो देंगे। वैष्णवी मास्को से अमर उजाला को बताती है, कि उन्होंने भी सुधांशु सर की बधाई के बारे में सुना है, उनके लिए यह बड़ी बात हैै। मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री मोहन यादव ने भी उन्हें सोशल मीडिया पर बधाई दी।वैष्णवी की बड़ी बहन गीतांजलि भी वूशु खिलाड़ी और देश के लिए 2022 में जॉर्जिया अंतरराष्ट्रीय टूर्नामेंट में स्वर्ण जीत चुकी है।

उन्होंने और उनकी बहन ने पास में ही इस खेल का अभ्यास करते बच्चों को देखा तो उन्हें लगा कि लड़कियों की सुरक्षा के लिए यह खेल बेहद अच्छा है। गीतांजलि ने जल्द ही राष्ट्रीय टीम में जगह बना ली। वैष्णवी बताती है कि उन्होंने राष्ट्रीय टीम में पदार्पण करते हुए स्वर्ण जीता है। 21 वर्षीय वैष्णवी बताती है कि वे 5 भाई-बहन है और उनके पिता पुलिस में सब इंस्पेक्टर है। मास्को स्टार वूशु टूर्नामेंट के फाइनल में उन्होंने रूसी खिलाड़ी को हराया। वैष्णवी कहती है कि वह 2026 के एशियाई खेलों में देश के लिए स्वर्णिम प्रदर्शन करना चाहती है। मेरठ की बुलबुल चौधरी ने भी मंगलवार को मास्को में समाप्त हुई मास्को स्टार वूशु चैंपियनशिप में शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए स्वर्ण पदक जीते। इसके अलावा सोना जीतने वालों में गाजियाबाद के संतोष मिश्रा (48 भार वर्ग) और जम्मू कश्मीर की आइरा और अंशा चिश्ती भी शामिल है।
