शुक्रवार को सेना प्रमुख जनरल उपेंद्र द्विवेदी ने पहलगाम हमले के बाद केंद्र शासित प्रदेश की अपनी पहली यात्रा में जम्मू-कश्मीर में सुरक्षा स्थिति की समीक्षा की।

उन्हें अपने क्षेत्र के अंदर आतंकवादियों के खिलाफ संरचनाओं द्वारा की जा रही कार्रवाई और नियंत्रण रेखा पर संघर्ष विराम का उल्लंघन करने की पाकिस्तानी सेना की कोशिशों के बारे में भी जानकारी दी गई।

आतंकी हमले के बाद से पाकिस्तान की ओर से संघर्ष विराम उल्लंघन में वृद्धि हुई है, जिसका भारतीय बलों ने मुंहतोड़ जवाब दिया है।

अधिकारियों के अनुसार, 25 और 26 अप्रैल की रात को कई पाकिस्तानी सेना चौकियों ने गोलीबारी की, जिसके कारण भारतीय सैनिकों ने छोटे हथियारों से जवाबी कार्रवाई की। किसी के हताहत होने की सूचना नहीं है।

 देश की राजधानी दिल्ली में 'रेखा' राज का आगाज हो गया है। दिल्ली के ऐतिहासिक रामलीला मैदान से रेखा गुप्ता ने मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ ली। LG वीके सक्सेना ने उन्हें सीएम पद एवं गोपनीयता की शपथ दिलाई। रेखा गुप्ता के साथ 6 विधायकों ने भी रामलीला मैदान में मंत्री पद की शपथ ली।

रेखा गुप्ता दिल्ली की चौथी महिला मुख्यमंत्री बनी हैं। उनसे पहले सुषमा स्वराज, शीला दीक्षित और आतिशी ने भी कमान संभाली हैं। रेखा शालीमार बाग से पहली बार विधायक चुनी गईं। 

दिल्ली में आज से 'रेखा सरकार'। शालीमार बाग सीट से पहली बार की विधायक रेखा गुप्ता (50 साल) ने गुरुवार को दिल्ली के रामलीला मैदान में शपथ ली। वे दिल्ली की 9वीं और चौथी महिला सीएम बन गई हैं।

रेखा से पहले सुषमा स्वराज, शीला दीक्षित और आतिशी मुख्यमंत्री रहीं। इस समारोह में पीएम मोदी, अमित शाह के अलावा बीजेपी शासित 21 राज्यों के सीएम, डिप्टी सीएम भी मौजूद रहे। आप नेता अरविंद केजरीवाल और आतिशी शपथ में नहीं पहुंचे।

रेखा के अलावा 6 मंत्रियों ने भी शपथ ली। इनमें अरविंद केजरीवाल को हराने वाले प्रवेश वर्मा, आशीष सूद, मनजिंदर सिंह सिरसा, रविंद्र इंद्राज सिंह, कपिल मिश्रा और पंकज कुमार सिंह शामिल है।

पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री डॉ. मनमोहन सिंह का गुरुवार रात निधन हो गया। वे 92 साल के थे। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने उनके आवास पहुंचकर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी। इधर, केंद्रीय कैबिनेट की बैठक शुरू हो गई है। इसमें पूर्व पीएम को श्रद्धांजलि दी जाएगी।

मनमोहन लंबे समय से बीमार थे। घर पर बेहोश होने के बाद उन्हें रात 8:06 बजे दिल्ली AIIMS लाया गया था। हॉस्पिटल बुलेटिन के मुताबिक, रात 9:51 बजे उन्होंने आखिरी सांस ली।

मनमोहन सिंह, 2004 में देश के 14वें प्रधानमंत्री बने थे। उन्होंने मई 2014 तक इस पद पर दो कार्यकाल पूरे किए थे। वे देश के पहले सिख और सबसे लंबे समय तक रहने वाले चौथे प्रधानमंत्री थे।

मनमोहन सिंह के निधन के चलते केंद्र सरकार ने 7 दिन का राष्ट्रीय शोक घोषित किया है। साथ ही शुक्रवार को होने वाले सभी कार्यक्रम कैंसिल कर दिए गए हैं।

राहुल गांधी और कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष खड़गे बेलगावी से देर रात दिल्ली पहुंचने के बाद सीधे मनमोहन सिंह के आवास गए थे। राहुल ने X पर लिखा- मैंने अपना मार्गदर्शक और गुरु खो दिया।

इस बीच, कर्नाटक के बेलगावी में चल रही कांग्रेस वर्किंग कमेटी (CWC) मीटिंग रद्द कर दी गई। कांग्रेस स्थापना दिवस से जुड़े आयोजन भी कैंसिल हो गए हैं। पार्टी के इवेंट 3 जनवरी के बाद शुरू होंगे।

मनमोहन का पार्थिव शरीर कल कांग्रेस मुख्यालय में रखा जाएगा, जहां आम लोग उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि देंगे। जानकारी के मुताबिक, मनमोहन का अंतिम संस्कार कल होगा। उनकी बेटियां आज शाम तक अमेरिका से भारत आ जाएंगी। अंतिम संस्कार किस जगह होगा, इसका फैसला प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय (PMO) करेगा।

दलगत राजनीति से ऊपर उठकर उन्होंने हर दल के व्यक्ति से संपर्क रखा, सहज उपलब्ध रहे। यहां दिल्ली आने के बाद भी मेरी उनसे बात मुलाकात होती थी। मुझे उनसे हुईं मुलाकातें और चर्चाएं हमेशा याद रहेंगी। इस कठिन घड़ी में उनके परिवार के प्रति संवेदनाएं प्रकट करता हूं। सभी देशवासियों की तरफ से श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करता हूं।
